I only used mine around 10-15 times for solid ball runs and would say they definitely can hold up for the traction on paved courts, I like to use a lot of toe drags and half spins when I play and find the upper material as well as the foam to be on the softer side. the foam started tearing in spots where I do side drags after my first few runs and had me worried about the durability of it but I also didn't get as much tear from the toebox material which in terms of fit was solid since the lace system and material keeps your foot snug to the foot bed. but the thing that made this one hard to play with for me was the cushioning, It's not the worse system I've played with(curry's take those) but with how low to the footbed you are I find the foam to act more of a side panel to keep you in place rather than absorb the impact. my build is 5'11 ~200-10 lbs low on speed but high in strength so this shoe advantages are its light weight, "advance" lockdown system with lacing options, and stopping ability(on dry surface) is really good especially since the traction allows for minimal dust buildup. on the other hand the shoe can be demanding on the foot since you have less impact protection than necessary and the material depending on your playstyle can lead to a lot of wear and tear its a good shoe to keep in the list but I would keep this shoe to indoor courts if possible. I got these when covid started hoping to use them inside, I'm not upset about breaking them outdoors but I know they would've lasted longer inside. hope that helps

I disagree heavily about React Elevation considering also that I also watched your videos about the excellent rating of UA Anatomix Spawn 3. React Elevation has been great for outdoor , no remarks. Support, everything and materials stay even after extensive use. About Spawn 3 which you recommend, support is really questionable at times. I am let down by them and not sure where the high rating comes. React elevation is a sleeper a big one imo and preferable for outdoor use. In nutshell, I see some inconsistencies in terms of how some of the shoes are rated, would like to see you in action with any of them to actually make a better judgement.
The I had 2 pairs of PG5’s so I use one for outdoor and indoor my pg5’s are still holding up
If you do a Nike By you you can do a xdr rubber outsole
Can you explain how that works? And does it go for all Nike shoes? I mess w the kyrie lows but I hear they’re TERRIBLE outdoors and I really only play outdoors lmao
@@burneraccount5448 i think its only an option for a few selected shoes, but the xdr is basically extra durable rubber made for outdoor use
It is only for the pg 5 Kyrie 7 kd 13
Come on Sam, you ain't that Old man. You still got it!
Do you think that puma mb.01's are good for outdoor use
I drag my toe a ton and I always make a big hole in my left shoe, they last like 2-3 months and it sucks. Thanks for talking about the toe dragging, hopefully the model 2g's will last longer on my feet!
Buy hard court tennis shoes
for me my jordan why not held up pretty well for outdoor
Thanks for the good tips. Very helpful. A quick question, what shoes would you recommend for Rope jumping (use a jumping mat and also outdoor).
Just purchased the Harden Stepback 2
My Harden 3s were comfy, but the sole wore down pretty quick outside.
What courts you playing on? Magma basketball courts or wtf?
Is there a particular shoe you would recommend for a bigger guy? I'm 6'4 300lb currently. Play outdoor.
are any kyries good for outdoor basketball?
What about Kyrie 8? Any thoughts??
Thank u for the advice. I am gonna order the stepback 2s so u saved me 😅
Im thorn between adidas pro model 2g low and jordan zoom seperate XDR version..help me choose guys. I play mainly outdoor. Pro model 2g price is $60 while the jordan zoom seperate is $80..
i got the nike renew elevate amd bought them for €55! they are cheap, look great and feel really nice 10/10 recommend
Nike zoom rize is under rated and amazing outdoors.
i own it and the some of the rubber at the traction literally broke after a year otherwise its pretty good tho
Yea zoom rize is good and so is alpha dunk but neither holds a candle to the hyper dunk especially in its mid 2010s glory days
@@yj637 you got a year of playing outdoor and think that ain’t great? Like some shoes are one and done outdoors.
It took 7 months of near everyday wear to rub off the traction for me and that’s the longest outdoors I’ve went with a shoe.
@@yj637 I'm lucky if I get 6 months out of shoe
You should include Adidas n3xt l3v3l, very very not recommend for outdoor concrete court
Also there is big difference if you are playing on concrete or rubber courts.
Nice! Thanks for the review! What about the Under Armour Curry 8 and Puma Clyde All-Pro for outdoor?
Curry 9 flow? Is good for outdoor
Would the shoes that are bad for outdoor playing be also bad for casual use too or not?
I just bought witness 5 for indoor so thanks for advising me not to use it outside
What are those blue, white, and gold shoes in the background called?
What’s the best latest basketball shoes for wide feet? I want one that has been recently released and is from a big player like steph etc.
same
Lebrons have a good history with bigger players because of the cushion, but if you’re playing outdoors idk if the traction will last
Oh ok. But the tongue of that shoe hurts
Ua spawn 3 is the best wide foot shoe in my opinion. This shoe is super wide and comfy
Is the harden stepback 2 on sale or somethin that's why it's cheap?
kd 13s are not good after a while. start hurting lower back from lack of support
i had an adidas clima cool low before. i had it for a long time so due to wear & tear, the whole outsole of 1 of the shoe fell off when i jumped when we were playing ball...ha ha ha...i didn't call for time out...i just stepped out of the court and changed shoes - chucks...ha ha ha...the anta GH 2 looks dope. thanks for the video.
I have a question what about the Nike Jordan React Elevation PF
Thoughts on New Balance Two Wxy for outdoor??
Are the Nike renew elevate 2 and 3 as good as the one in the video?
What about Jordan Jumpman 2021? Also "Jordan Ultra Fly 3".....
Where can I get li ning all city 8 v2? (I'm from France)
Is the curry 8 good for outdoor basketball
If I play indoors with my kyrie 7 but I also walk normaly outdoors with theme, will they break ?
Hey! Can I get the PF version of the 'Why Not' Zer0.4? Is it gonna be better?
Or can I get the Jordan Jumpman 2021 for outdoor use? Is that gonna last? Thanks!
Kyrie 7s are the best for outside and inside. Even in rough cement it grips. It squeaks! From ph
How come I cannot find the KD 13 in the green/white/black colorway you're talking about?
Hey are Trae shoes goof for outdoor use
What if I just have a outdoor practice and I have lebron 18
