Hello, visit old Damascus, it is a unique experience, there are many Christians of Damascene origin in Damascus, and Muslims as well, all of them welcome tourists, my greetings to you
That's 100% false. The businesses on Bloor have seen an increase in business (the Bloor-Annex BIA is even fighting to keep the bike lanes). You could try looking this up instead of making stuff up.
@ Bloor West Village, Runnymede to Jane. Nowhere to park, so people just drive by. Wasn’t making stuff up, but thanks for the put-down of a loyal viewer.
@@folklorestuff1743 Business has still increased. People shouldn't be parking their private property on major corridors anyway, that's absurd and most major cities around the world are moving away from this as they should and as we should.
@ The roadways are paid for by taxpayers, car owners and cyclists, but has now become the private, exclusive property of only the cyclists. Bike lanes have not improved traffic along Bloor because it’s still only down to one lane.
@folklorestuff1743 The bike lanes have *increased* business and *not* increased congestion. We should trade that away so people can selfishly park their cars which often only transport one single person on major corridors? That is absolute Looney tunes. Especially on a street with a subway line. That is literally going back into the stone ages and unnecessarily ending the lives of people being far more responsible than those who drive. Use stats to make an argument that they should be removed and you'll find out ... they don't exist.
The thing that I don’t get with Ford’s anti bike obsession, is that most of these bike lanes are so thin that they wouldn’t create enough space for two lanes of vehicular traffic. He’s so out of touch with reality and his priorities are warped.
good morning everyone

The complaints about the bike lanes replacing parking on Bloor is because now there is nowhere to park. The small businesses are losing customers.
