49:00 round 1 is a special treat. Both Aronian-mvl and nepo-firouja are archetypal opposite-castling positions. Each one is an attacking race with tremendous variety and energy. What a contrast with drier games we all plod through while waiting for positions like these.

Will Vidit be awarded the golden egg prize if he does not win or draw a single game?

40:00 You seem to forget, we're here for the chess. There are constant smiling interruptions at the most intriguing points, as if what we're looking at just doesn't matter at all: let's just forget all about that and go straight to Zagreb. WE DON'T CARE if they're standing by in Zagreb with an interview and some boring platitudes (or especially your announcers' silly guesses about the winner). LET 'EM WAIT! Tell production to stop wetting their pants. We're trying to watch some chess!

Why these professional chess commenters keep avoiding the word "takes" when the peace is captured. Like @ 1:17:37 Christian says "..because after Queen *to* d7 you have Knight to e5". But the white Bishop is on d7, so he should have said ".. because after Queen *takes* d7 you have Knight to e5". Especially when talking fast, it's much easier to follow what's going on.
I never heard Yasser missing these simple rules and it's disappointing so many other commenters do.

Wesley is right: your engine is distinctly inferior - especially for broadcast of important tournaments to a wide audience. Please start using lichess's stockfish at least; don't bother posting any more bogus question marks until you do. We're not talking supercomputers here, just a competent modern engine.
(PS: A move does not deserve exclamation just because the only other move is checkmate in one.)

Is Jovanka's pronunciation ("Chass", "chack", "tan saconds", "Gukash") typical for a particular part of England, or is it all her personal own?
