For adding V23 in this scenario, the easiest way I’m familiar with would be to add a waypoint on the airway you know to be behind you, scroll down to the next field where you’d add the next waypoint, press menu, load airway, and choose your exit point of GMN. You can then activate the leg you’d be intercepting to join the airway and arm NAV in the autopilot.
I don’t believe you can load Victor airways into Garmin fpl. You have to enter the waypoints along the Victor airway. Or fly green needles off the VORs. Had the same thing happen to me down in Florida. ATC loves Victor airways down there.
KLGB is my home airport and my office is on the third floor of a building you taxied past, windows overlooking the entire airport. Among other things I could tell you about the airport, Gulfstream, like many businesses, is leaving California. If you get there again, let me know. I’ll buy you lunch and trade you a flight in my C441 for a flight in your TBM.
I grew up flying out of LGB. Used to have a biplane in the Ross hanger. C441....nice plane! I flew a Jetstream with Garrett’s many years ago. Solid engines.
Love riding along. Thanks for making the videos.
The “Brakes Off” paper on the copilots window.....priceless at altitude.
Ha! Didn’t notice until now, but yes, I can confirm the brakes were off.

On your FPL page, Menu then “load airway” in the G1000
Ha! I’ll have to try that.

Love the videos. What checklists are you using?
It’s a Goldberg custom list.
"Your whole family is in the plane? Nerve racking! One thing to kill me..." Is this guy an in-law or an employee angling for unemployment? lol
Loose the beard.
