    March, actually the yellow acropora is not an acropora selago, its a latistella, always confused by the original pikachu, which is an acropora microclados

    Can you use general epoxy on it or does it require a special reef safe epoxy

    I've gotten away from epoxy because it's messy, takes longer, and I see no real benefits. I use the Rich Ross method: cyanoacrylate on rock, same on frag, push them together. Holds fine (unless a fish bashes into it), but comes apart when I need. Works for rock on rock also. BTW, I think I've watched nearly all of your videos. Really fun to listen to while I work. Hope to finally visit the store when I'm next in Toronto!

      If using super glue though you need to remember to use the gel versions. Otherwise it's an uncontrollable mess of liquid super glue on hands and potentially strings of it in the water or far worse, on a polyp

      @@daftgowk1 Definitely! I'm glad you mentioned that. I buy the Gorilla Glue cyanoacrylate gel in the small tubes. I sometimes submerge the tube when applying gel directly to underwater rock surfaces.

    Wet your hands before kneeding the epoxy....even bare handed.....never sticks to your hands ...
