    As a successful brother, I can’t show up with my fellow VPs with a woman with yellow hair and neon nails. It would immediately downgrade my corporate brand and limit the opportunities. I know some may not understand, but this is how it goes.

      @@credred1793 Great point, but I would never ask a woman of this age to change who she is at this point. The colors are expressive and that is part of her personality. When I was younger, my wife and I grew together along with our preferences. I may be too conservative for a person like her. Honestly, sometimes people are just not a good fit for each other and there is nothing wrong with either person.

There are men who are ok being provided for but thats not the type of men they desire. Why are these conversations always centered around what the man should do and what she refuses to do? They never addressed the real reason why they can't get the man they want. They never mention Character... its not about your race, career status, education, skin color, or even beauty etc... all of those things can get her some one for a moment and frankly using those surface level attributes as the reasons is a defense mechanism to avoid addressing character flaws that got them in this position... Its about the attitude and the willingness to be a helpmeet. Being feminine woman who's willing to give her all to a man who's willing to give his all.... their plenty of good hard working with character men who are willing to give their all but you have to desire THEM. Not on the surface level but on a personal level. Money and happiness are important but fleeting and shouldn't be the foundation. Character is long lasting that will get you thru the day to day.

    Even we eliminated biracial/mixed, there is still the issue of the black community putting lighter skin black people on a pedestal and giving them preferential treatment with Eboni being this very example. At least she admits her privilege in this clip.

    • @CornellG
      @CornellG 5 месяцев назад +7

      They don't want to hear this. Women think in terms of possibility, not probability. Hence why I never understood why men who make less then 100k worry. The 100k line of men have 40 women to every man. After 30 of those women know they won't be picked or taken seriously, they go down to the 80-90k line think they'll have better odds. After realizing that line is just as packed, they go down to the 60-80k line. Although not as packed, that line still has competition and expectations associated. Hence the frustration from these women. They want the best, but hate the idea of having to compete for it.

    • @CornellG
      @CornellG 5 месяцев назад +6

      @Kemet89 Whether it’s a lot of money or not, doesn’t change the fact that only 15% of all Americans make it. So finding a man making six figures is rare, even if it isn’t alot of money. The rare part is the point.

    • @CornellG
      @CornellG 5 месяцев назад

      You're naming all extreme hypotheticals. In a vacuum, money can only hide so many flaws which I agree. However, you're continue to miss the point that anybody making a 100k is rare. If you include factors like debt, child support, etc, then it makes a man who makes over a 100k and without all of those even more rare. For example, I don't have any school debt, I make over 150k, no kids, no std's, I care about appearance and hygiene a little too much if I had to be honest. So when I was single, I had plenty of options to choose from. Does that mean every women I met wanted me, of course not. It's simply about who has the advantage from simply numbers alone. It seems you don't like the idea of 100k men having this advantage and your frustration should be with the women who desire them and put that requirement. If the requirement was 50k men then 100k men wouldn't feel so cocky. As it stands, men who make over 75k are in the minority and anything in the minority always has options over the majority. Economics and marketing 101. @Kemet89

    • @CornellG
      @CornellG 5 месяцев назад

      It seems as though you feel that men who make 100k shouldn't feel special. Blame that on the market demand, not then men who make it. Whether you feel it's not enough or not, doesn't take away that numbers are in favor of men who make 100k+. For example, I make over 150k, no kids, no std's, I care a lot about my appearance and hygiene. Although I look at myself as a normal everyday guy, I did notice my influx of options before I eventually met my wife. It's simple supply and demand. If demand exceeds the amount of supply, then prices go up.@Kemet89

      But are they not speaking from the sentiments of black women? I understand wanting representation in skin color, but it still does not take away from their statements regarding the suffrage of black women. If we focus so much on the nuance of black skin color rather than the message and insights spoken, we will loose focus on the message spoken and the impact, because we are so busy focusing specifically on such traits and attributes black skin color or colorist attributes, which is a disservice to black women in general. Focusing or constantly pointing out skin color does not help the plight, advancement, or attribution of black women in this context.
      Edit: Because of Beyoncé and all her light-skin was saying these same exact sentiments and dialogue as these women, NOT ONE PERSON would have a problem. Picking and choosing what to be upset over does not add to help the situation of black women.

      I looked at the map and did the math recently. And the western world (US, Canada, UK, Western Europe, Australia, NZ) only encompasses about 600M ppl or about 7.5% of the global population of 8 billion.
      Feminism has fully subsumed the west. But in Asia, LATAM, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa, patriarchy still largely reigns. And in places where English is not prevalent you will find traditional women. The English language is now the circulatory system for feminist ideology. Places like Ethiopia, India, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, Sri Lanka, Saudi, Oman, Japan, Vietnam speak little English and have very little feminism as a result. These countries also have low divorce rates. India, Guatemala, and Sri Lanka have the lowest divorce rates, as low as 1% in India.
      The solution is clear. You have to leave the west, and you need to learn at least 1 additional language. Women who do not speak English are less likely to be brainwashed by feminism, which is spread via English speakers, esp. American women.

    I'm a well-educated woman, and I did quite well for myself prior to meeting my husband. My husband is an executive of a large company, and he is a black man with two advanced degrees. He's wonderful and so loving. He's a great leader. The reason why I had no problems getting married was because I am pleasant, kind, nice, fit, feminine, friendly, and I work out. I don't have a negative attitude, and I understand that the disposition of a woman really impacts a man especially when you are married or trying to get married. These women need to be taught how to be feminine women. They need to be taught how to respect men. My husband doesn't have to compete with me. He knows that I fully respect him. If he makes a decision and something doesn't work out, I don't bash him and berate him. Furthermore, I don't treat him like my son. He is my man, not my child. There's a lot more that I could say about this, but I just feel as though it won't matter.

The question is, the other way around, why would a male CEO of American Express want to marry Melissa Ford? What would they even have in common? See how that works? Women view "value" in men strictly by their income. Men view "value" in a woman by her character and positive traits she can bring to their relationship. Further more... not every lawyer has a high income. Some get into law because they want to help others. On the off chance that the maid has the day off can we agree that it will be you who cooks and cleans you will probably say no. We will probably struggle to fit in each others schedules cause I'm extremely busy and I imagine if I marry someone on my level we just won't see each other. Most days will probably both be too tired to have intimacy. Business trips right now last for weeks at a time and I imagine they'll only get worse with more success of my business. If we both have preferences who's take more priority. Do we always chose your favorite meal and your favorite restaurants and your favorite activities. These are all things to worry about if your dating a peer. Or are we going to be consistently having the arguments "its not 1950 Sugar-Ray why don't you get up your ass and do it yourself"? So even though I'm extremely rich it becomes easier on my peace and mental health to date someone way below my status so it can work

      @TheStampedeVista right no offense but Bria Myles, Ryan Destiny, Bernice Burgos hell even Kenya Moore could blow these chicks out the water, so she needs to stop, no poor dark skin girl over here I am rich, rich and never needed to commiserate about money or men so she needs to figure it out

      Yes sis, the light skinned and mixed women expect to be doing so much better than their darker counterparts. At 40, they’re surprised they’re in this situation and must compare that others have it worse😂. When in actuality I know way more darker and brown skinned married women such as myself. I live in a predominantly white neighborhood and the 4 blk married couples on my street are all brown or darker. (Including myself) . It’s not skin tone , it’s their attitude.

    Question: if i earn 7 million a year.
    I have two options.
    1. I can choose a 21 year old who thinks ten grand is alot of money. I move her into my crib and she is my gal but has no debt or expenses for me to take on. She us relatively cheap.
    Or
    Choose a 40 year old woman who earns 100k or 7 figures. Has expensive taste and curated lifestyle. Where my millions is stretched thin to cover be lifestyle expectations.
    Im go for the young pretty girl who follows my lifestyle and sees me as so cool rather an older chick i have to spend more on ...
    Im gonna go for the less expensive prettier option.

      A high-income man is a financial boost to a woman, but a high-income woman is a financial drain to a man. The high-income woman will expect the man to fund her expensive lifestyle, or at least pay for half of it -- half of the $800 dinner dates, half of the first class flights to Europe and $1000/night hotels, etc. That's why most men are better off dating a woman who earns less.

    I get it - this isn’t a space for black women to strategize, heal, and have constructive conversations. This appears to be another platform for black/biracial women to commiserate on why they haven’t married a wealthy capitalist/elitist. I believe these conversations cause more harm than good. Young black girls don’t need to be constantly reminded that they’re not “preferred”. I’m sick of seeing beautiful educated women appear to be miserable because of not having a man. I’m sure all these women have impacted countless lives throughout their careers - let’s focus on that.
    Hell, I’m sure if a wealthy good looking black man was watching this his first reaction wouldn’t be… I want to make one of them my wife. So, what’s the point

      Bw are only miserable because they refuse to expand their options. Most bw only want bm. Bm are the worse performing demographic in america and yet bm are all that bw want. I have come to the conclusion that the relationship between bw and bm is one of a sadist\masochist relationship. One loves abusing and the other loves being abused.

      That's kinda how I took that last statement about how the panelists fell in the "preferred" category. I agree this conversation does more harm than good. Definitely not any good. It's the same old conversation. I do believe there is a bias against black women but on the relationship front there are so many individual dynamics at play that are more likely at the root of why many women are single.

      is they're so proffered, why haven't they found the perfect man for them. I know a lot of bw darker that are happily in relationship with the man of their dreams. This preferences thing is silly.

      Even their audience was darker than they were, so weird. Just goes to show you, even these "preferenced" women are lonely too. If they were white, they would be housewives by 27! WW are on marriage schedules, they don't play! By 35, they are 2nd marriages, by 40, they are "retired" stay at home moms showing off massive renovated homes!
