Sing Me Back Home - Merle Haggard cover

That was the first Merle Haggard's song I ever heard in my life. I liked it from the first moment I heard it. Yet, surprisingly it took me some time before I realized it was actually written by Merle. The reason for that was that the primary version of it that I listened to was a cover version by Billy Ray Cyrus - the man whose records introduced me to the country music. RIP Merle (1937 - 2016) :'(
