You are actually foolish lawyer. Don't know what sati is. And just following what is shown in movie. Go research what sati is. Wife was never forced to go in fire. She herself does because she can't live without her husband not because villagers want to. And also it's not compulsory. And mens rights never tell to remove woman's laws. So first clear yourself.

If marriage is done thinking divorce can be a possibility, then why marry? Hindu marriages are built on trust for the groom and bride and their families as well. It is not a business or a contract as per rituals. Either change the laws or don't marry then.
Pre-nups are like business contract. They make the marriage rituals a money game, which is not good for Indian society. Wait till the laws are changed or don't marry.

As a successful retired medical professional I was able to pay off my house and retire early after my divorce. I was devastated when she filed however after a few short years I doubled my income and was able to fully fund my children's college education. The problem was with her lack of financial discipline and her resentment towards me because of mine. Many women view me as the ideal eligible bachelor but unbeknownst to many of them I will never, ever marry again or even consider a long term serious relationship. I have an abundance of peace, quiet and financial freedom more so now than I have ever had before. Women to me usually are more of a relationship liability vs an asset. I'm extremely satisfied being single with an occasional hook up now and again..

I am not saying alimonies should always be given to the wife especially if she working and earning. If they have children the child maintanence should be given. If she was a housewife then the man have to provide for her otherwise should not marry a woman who is not capable of earning. Also, men have all the rights to voice against alimony but really stop justifying dowry. Its hightime, indian men and women should stop involving parents and their money in their wedding. Both should bear the wedding expenses and both should move out from their respective houses, not only the girl.

As far as my understanding of law goes the new criminal laws cannot be used retrospectively on the offences which were committed prior to 1st July, 2024. Since there is a express saving clause in new criminal laws and moreover the new laws can only be implemented retrospectively if the same is expressly mentioned in the code itself. And in the new laws no where it is mentioned that they will be implemented from the back date therefore to say that for offences registered before 1st July 2024 BNSS is applicable is totally erroneous.
Well he can share more insights and strategy about fighting these false cases but for that he will charge money. If he shares everything for free how will he earn money and feed his family?

There are some lawyers in my family and I could relate with this podcast both from the perspective of lawyers(zero work life balance, being judged by society etc) and the perspective of s citizen. I think we need to hear more from lawyers, judges and police about the country we live in and the situations here. These are the people who are most aware about how the country is functioning and what changes are required. It was indeed a very insightful podcast, the thumbnail is a clickbait but you might lose out on serious, intelligent audience here because of it while the ones clicking might not actually understand and hence, not benefit.

There are some lawyers in my family and I could relate with this podcast both from the perspective of lawyers(zero work life balance, being judged by society etc) and the perspective of s citizen. I think we need to hear more from lawyers, judges and police about the country we live in and the situations here. These are the people who are most aware about how the country is functioning and what changes are required.
It was indeed a very insightful podcast, the thumbnail is a clickbait but you might lose out on serious, intelligent audience here because of it while the ones clicking might not actually understand and hence, not benefit.
