CRYSTAL POOLS HIKE WITH FRIENDS | CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

'CLARENCE DRIVE’ the coastal road linking Gordons Bay to Bettys Bay - this stretch of coastline has so much to offer! Over a few episodes Im going to showcase this beautiful coastline and what it has to offer from fun novelty sessions, beach days with friends, finding world class waves in our back yard with nobody around as well as showcasing some of the tourist attractions and interesting places other than the beach along the route and just having an all round good time.
‘Crystal Pools’ - A few close friends and I felt like we needed to do something a little different away from the ocean, where we could truly connect with nature in the depths of the Koggel Bay Mountains, offering views and memories that will last a lifetime. There were some crazy cliff jumps and yes, I am incredibly scared of heights so if you want a laugh watch till the end haha. The hike is around 3 - 4 hours roundtrip, once you get to the top there are a variety of pools to choose from, all of which are pretty majestic with waterfalls and a 360 view of the Koggel Bay Biosphere. When you get back down to reality you can then sit down for a much needed meal and beer at Pitstop Lodge, enjoying the atmosphere and some incredible food. It was a great day shared with friends, my Dad and my girlfriend, I can't wait experience it again.
