I installed the overdrive gears in my Ecto (not an XF trans, but it's mostly the same): I find the gears mesh fine but seem to cog badly. Is there a break-in or anything? There's not a ton of resistance but it feels like there's an un-powered motor already hooked up in how it cogs. Is that normal?

The SE plastic gear material is differ t than the plastic gears that come in the kit or any of the other RTR Element rigs I’ve owned.

Well dang. I know the kits come with metal gears. Didnt realize the plastics were different

@@DixielandRC my kit came with both the plastic and metal gears. The color of the plastic is different. The SE’s plastic is lighter in color and seems softer? When I installed OD in my SE, I used the Kit plastic gears. 👍🏼

Where does the Team KnK spacer go? You are working outside of camera view when installing spacer and new drive gear. Can you show how the spacer and gear fit on the outdrive?

Goes inside of it. If you dont understand. Look up the manual on the element website. Just follow the instructions for the builders kit. Its basically the same.
