Swap the ring and pinion from the other hobbyplus rig. The ring and pinion from evo should be 13/26t can go up front on the venture18 overdrive. The venture18 11/28t can go on the furywagon or evo rear underdrive. Quick tip, nice review dixieland.
From what I've been able to tell without own either (yet) is that the Venture18 is largely the same as the HobbyPlus CR18P line, including the Arktos. The transmissions are identical, the ECM is straight out of the Arktos, and I imagine the upcoming portal kit with just turn its axles into what comes on the CR18P. The center pumpkin exteriors are different though, as are the chassis too of course.
