I've just recently found this song. I lost a son to addiction 💔 😢 I've been battling chronic illnesses for over 20 years. My once tight-knit family has recently been torn apart, and I've felt like giving up so many times. But God was ALWAYS there. He relentlessly pursued me with His undying love and amazing grace. He is my Anchor through all if the trials and storms in life!! I walk with Him and seek Him daily through His Word, prayer, praise, worship, and fellowship with other believers. I will NEVER walk away from Him again. His Holy Spirit comforts me in ALL my troubles. He can do this for you, too. No matter how bad things get, remember that His only Son, Jesus Christ, paid for ALL of our sins at Calvary. You only have to trust in Him and seek Him every single day. It’s amazing to me when God uses all the bad and makes something wonderful out of it such as “eye of the storm” now Ryan has an even greater testimony and has the opportunity to help so many others because he’s been through all that and now he can relate to people! I know going through trials is hard but to come out of them stronger and closer to Jesus, is more than we could ever dream! I use to be soooo depressed because I use to loook at all my storms as mountains I could never climb and yet Jesus carried me up and over and then showed me how to defend myself against these storms using his power and suddenly I began to believe in Jesus more than I ever had and after I came out of the depression, all I’ve wanted to do is tell anybody and everybody who will listen what Jesus has done!! Thank you Jesus for all you do for us and for willing people such as Ryan, to use his music and talents to help others like me!!
If you remember the hymn "How Firm a Foundation," in one of the verses thereof, the Lord Himself says this: When through fiery trials thy pathway shall lie, my grace, all-sufficient, shall be thy supply. The flame shall not hurt thee, I only design, thy dross to consume and thy gold to refine.

Very encouraging presentation and as Jesus Himself declares in John 16:33, "In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer! I have overcome the world." Plus, I would like to say that almost a year ago, my step dad died and I don't think he was a believer. The thing that helped me to remain positive and at peace in the midst of this loss was a passage from Genesis 18, where Abraham is in a dificult situation and he asks this question: Will not the judge of all the earth do what is right? Ryan, my daughter is a heroin addict she's 39 years old and has done drugs most of her adult life I stoped counting the number of times she has overdosed this is the darkest time of my life and has taken its toll on me and others that love her She just lost her companion this month on November 13th of 25 years together he lost his life to an heroin overdose. I had heard and even sang along to this amazing song of yours but only realized just the other day and not a very good day for me I had let Satan just riddle me of tormenting thoughts and your song began to play over the radio and it was like God said dont sing just listen and when I heard the words ( and when addiction steals my baby girl and there's nothing I can do my only hope is to trust in you I trust you Lord ) I started balling and praising God I just couldn't believe all the times that I had heard this song I hadn't heard these words But this day I did. Please know that this song brought me up out of the miry clay and darkness of hell that day. Just when I think that I have no more hope Jesus picks me up again and carries me. EVERYTIME I spoke to Siri and asked to hear “Thy will” by Hillary Scott and Family this song would automatically come up. Finally after a week of going through this EVERYTIME I played my playlist I decided to look it up and just save it to my playlist because it was saying everything I felt. I’m announce to me it was never a part of my history of songs or anything that I have ever saved so then I got to thinking that this wasn’t by chance this was nothing but the move of God and now I have five songs that are strictly to the songs that kept coming up on my playlist that God wanted me to hear and the pain and the anxiety that I have been going through this past week. I was searching for an image background for my song/poem entitled:In the eye of the storm. then it lead me to this site. i havent heard your song before but this is a confirmation of what the Lord spoke in my heart last June 22, 2020. I was cleaning a room and i was holding a vaccum and begun to sing. And these words came out in my heart: All are in chaos, Things turned upside down. Everything seems not in order and dreams seems dim. HE STANDS WITH ME, IN THE EYE OF THE STORM. JESUS STANDS WITH ME IN THE EYE OF THE STORM. Don't be afraid. Don't be despair. I also sing in a choir at church. I am going through a battle now from diabetes on more insulin. My Birthday is also in January 20 1963. Thank you. I hope one day I could be a good singer as you. But you are a great singer.
Cool story, I've been under this prolonged experience with my autistic son who also has ADHD and I kept saying Lord why don't you answer I can't handle this and it got worse and worse with no help and nobody seemed to care until one day the Lord shook my 'sleeping' mind and I heard him loud and clear "stop being the tough guy trying to control everything" and since I was at the point of giving him up for adoption (things were that bad and I thought I was one who'd never give up a child but my back was to the wall) and I finally broke down and said Lord this is out of my hands I give it up to you that's my only option anyway, I guess I have to give it to you and boom things improved slightly, but the greatest change was a month later when a doctor put him on ADHD medicine and I'm just so thankful for him.
