Intercooler Upgrade for the 3.0L CRD DDTi Patrol

Decided to upgrade the standard Factory Intercooler on my 3.0L patrol after reading lots of negative reviews on the unit from the factory.

I'll bet your EGT's are lower especially towing now than before, have you got an EGT gauge at the manifild not post turbo?

No not at the moment maybe thinking next project a 3 inch exhaust with some bungs to fit a gauge

Well it was working best of my knowledge but info on the forum from the guys is that they leak as only crimped joins and looking at the two, new one is wastly superier

Yes that is true but the guys on the Patrol4X4 are pretty good lots are in the trade and do extensive reseach and testing on Patrols
