- Full build of the Airfix Westland Sea King HC.4 1/72 'Commando' Royal Navy
The Westland Sea King, well suited for amphibious warfare and the tactical insertion of ground troops.
The HC.4 seen operational service in the Falklands, Balkans, Gulf, Lebanon and Afghanistan.
Eventually provided with radar-warning, infrared jamming devices and could deploy M130/M147 flares as countermeasures.
It could be fitted to carry underslung loads of up to 2.5 tonnes. 28 troop capacity and increased range made it the ideal amphibious transport aircraft.

These really elaborate camouflages are my favorite, but yah they are so difficult and time consuming to do. Great job!

I think it's up there, parts all fit pretty good, bit of fiddling when closing up the fuselage but I'd definitely recommend this kit. I knew the paint job would be a challenge but didn't expect it to take the time it did, got there eventually 😅

The round window towards the back, I wasnt sure if it was only the rounded part to stay clear or the whole thing. I couldn't quite tell from photos 🧐
