Lara hung up on her not believing it was actually Barbra on the other end of the phone. Obviously all worked out as that snippet exists. Vocally both Celine and Lara have beautiful voices, but performance wise, Lara’s resonance, dynamics, phrasing, breath control, etc surpasses Celine. She is unique in that way. She takes you on her emotional journey with her performance…she is the best storyteller. I have seen Streisand and Celine in concert and can honestly say I have been more affected by Lara’s concerts on RUclips.
