Ha! I have 2 daughters and the interruptions never end. That part cracked me up. Part of why I build in the garage now, even though its terrible from May to October out here in Arizona.
I didn't heavy weather my late D's or Ta's because they didn't see a lot of action like a 190 A, F or G would have. So I think your weather job is perfect. Great job on the pipes. That's the way to end the vid, the famous Champlin Yellow 13.
You are a Master. Very well done. I am still very much torn between beating up my projects or leaving them factory finish. Tough call, especially the WWII-era Japanese aircraft, whose paint did not stand up at all to the environment. Next project is the Zoukei-Mura Rai Den (Jack) so I have some deliberatin' ta do.
Yeah, I hear ya...just gotta go with what you feel like at the time. I’ve got that Raiden as well, just haven’t decided to crack into mine yet. I’m guessing I’ll beat the hell out of mine.
I'm sitting on a completed Merit International 1/18 scale SBD painted in the tricolor scheme and it looks so pretty that way. I may just give it a Testors wash to dirty and fade it some and leave it at that. Great kit. I think I could fly one now given all the details that went into the cockpit and Radio/Gunner's compartment. "Dauntless: The Battle of Midway" and "Midway" (2019) both did that Bird up proud!
No better way to wake up to a weekend off (here in Australia anyway) than to a new PMW video. The camo scheme looks great and expertly done again too. Well done, looking forward to the completed job.
I was thinking as you were painting the exhaust stacks. That the amount of "Orangish" color would depend on if your aircraft is on the ground (cold stacks) or inflight (Hot Stacks). Painting the turbine part on the B-17 super chargers inflight they would be a bright cherry red but on the ground and cold they would be burnt metal. So in part deciding how to paint something requires a certain amount of knowledge on what something looks like.

Excellent explanation and demo on how to do the burnt metal look of the exhausts.

That’s gotta be 🥵
@@seanerk5kt9 Hell yeah, but I'll take it over those Illinois winters.

Late war Luftwaffe had the best camouflage as your outstanding work here shows !

Show us how you do the exhaust stains on the fuselage, like you did on your Me109. I am doing it on my Hurricane now
Great work there, watching the build along to this. Subbed also! You sure have a talent ;)
Thanks buddy! I’ll have to check out some of your builds
i also got the same kit, but the H0 version in my stash, but i am gone build it gears down, engine open
With all that open, you’ll probably have better luck than I did with this one
What is the stuff that you hold the pieces with on the ends of your sticks? It’s a white looking material. I’d like to try it for my modeling.
Sticky tac?
Primedmodelworks who is it made by I’d like to get some?
@@blackeaglefabrication2369 look up bluetac or patafix
Konrad Alexander thanks Konrad I found it being sold at staples after you told me about the blue tax.
why did you use a fictional paint scheme, it does not look right for the Ta 152 when we know the scheme for the real one.
Because the owner is paying me to paint it this way
Sigh...
