For real. I do think that this is real for him, but after everything and based on how she was in this video alone, I think it’s all just for clicks and views on her end. Obviously, we don’t know the behind the scenes, but a lot of this was really irritating, especially, when she stopped listening to him talk so she could flirt with the bartender. I hope this all made sense because I’m using talk to text. lol

I think she has actual feelings but is a bit more avoidantly attached OR she doesn’t want to get invested because the logistics of long distance. I think largely in part because we care about Yuval, and he seems like such a great guy, but also because this was happening RIGHT TO HIS FACE! Whenever she is mean to the producer or whoever else, we never see their interaction directly because he is always off-camera or something. This just felt so much more disrespectful to me, cause we could actively see Yuval processing what was going on, and watch him realise that this wasn't "real" for her.

Several protested at the “jokey” producer abuses last video, and we don’t know that guy at all. Her handling of this is all quite baffling tbh- Either for her PR/ brand likeability, or even for establishing rapport with a new friend. It’s not just missing the mark…At 27 & a pro- this only comes down to being genuinely awful (& lacking self awareness) or just sabotaging your career. It’s bad.

Disappointing video. At that point I’m only watching for Yuval. Ayame attitude felt fake (forced?), she acted rather rude, and the “hot bartender” bit was annoying. I feel robbed because while I loved their interaction in the beginning, this time the video was too much of a publicity stunt for views, and the genuine content we (I) loved got lost. (when it could have been a great video about their friendship (at least) )
I do wish Yuval and Ayame all the best. I hope they learnt what the audience prefer and find all the happiness they deserve and more !

I’m confused as to how people are confused that this is meant to be satire. If anything, this reminds me of Chicken Shop Dates, like the awkwardness of the host, the little goofy cutaways, and the play that this isn’t an actual date.
Personally, I find this show a funny concept. Perhaps the audience has too much of a strong connection between the two of them, but as someone who’s new to this, I can tell that this is meant to be satire interviews like also Between Two Ferns.

even if this whole relationship is fake (which is what i assume is happening because i want it so desperately to be real..) , this video feels so disingenuous in comparison with the first meeting one. if it’s for views or gaining more money towards supporting palestine at least put some effort in to make viewers want more😭 bc as of this point ayame seems rude and disloyal and in turn yuval is made to look pathetic for continuing to engage with someone who is in her own little world and just likes people to fawn over her..
as an aquarius myself i was looking for some deeper convo and honesty but i’m disappointed :/
My bestfriend is an aquarius as well and I could see alot of her in Ayame in the first video. That cheesing, flustered and somewhat panicking side of Ayame that I felt was more sincer in a way and more "real and raw" if it makes sense. I know aquariuses likes to crack jokes and can put up fronts sometimes to shelter themselves but y'all are hella deep too and vunerable if someone gives you the space to be that open. Which I feel like Yuval tried to do and also did for her, create a safespace and try to really get deep and it feels like Ayame kinda selfsabotaged that. She seems kinda uncomfortable with him, not that he is harmful or that he is dangerous, but I dont know if Ayame is used to the energy he gives out. The gentle, quiet and more observing type.
I am honestly sad that she didnt went deep with him. Since the pod episode gave me a feeling she would start opening up, but this episode was so uncomfortable to watch.
If it is real, she is really holding up a front but its damaging her more than serving her.

I think he sees now it is only just a skit to her. The whole TikTok situation obviously he didn’t take seriously but the whole flying out and how authentic the podcast was, he was feeling her a little bit and she’s a beautiful woman. That’s why he felt pressure. But this here was a whole 360 and he just put his guard up. Especially with all the cameras and her giggling over the bartender. Him being flirty or picking up the signals just went out the window.

Neither of them owe us authenticity because this is clearly a story, not a documentory. But i think that's where the threads start to unravel between Yuval and Ayame. She's going for the story and he's not a character. It's nobody's fault. It's just bad casting.

I feel like Ayame is gonna push Yuval away if she keeps reminding him how scared she was of him, the constant comparisons and the fact that she hasn’t “chosen” between him and Oliver… so I hope that behind closed doors their connection is a bit more relaxed and less forced as it is on camera.
