  • Hi all,
This was such a challenging job as it was my first time doing something like it. I learned a lot and it was a nice experience. The upgrade is totally worth it as the car steering feels much better now and it prevents having to do this maintenance down the line when the rubber bushing fails.

Nice work! Upgrades to handling is always good. Do you ever feel an suv is top heavy when driving?

Sometimes it fries floaty but we are working on fixing this. The x3 has very good handling!

Did you have to unlock your dme for transmission tune? If so did you send it off to get unlocked?

No, you are tuning the TCU module vs the ECU module.

It’s possible but I rather get chassis bracing sorted first, then wheels tires and KW coils.

@@LifeofPandK With coilovers, wouldn't you lose the adaptive dampers?

You can get KW with DDC and won’t lose the adaptive option.

It’s still relatively new and here in Florida we don’t get winters/snow.
