Haha, that was me walking off to try and catch the train still! We switched music providers with this episode, so thanks for the feedback! You'll have to wait until the next episode to find out whether we made the train. 😳😂
10:08 I know what that scream is, but I didn't know it could be heard so loudly. Ahhh, weightlessness and you get out of the queue with an old lady from China clinging to your back... 😂😂😂
Good Day, You two think the Chamonix gondola ride was the best, but you must try the Stanserhorn Mtn gondola ride. You can ride on top and outside the gondola. You can reach the mountain from Luzern, Switzerland.
Looked amazing! We're about to do the Aiguille Du Midi and then the ponte helbronner as well as the grand balcon nord hike. How long do each of these activities take?
@@TalesFromOurPocket I can't find anywhere on the SNCF website about the bus. I tried to search for Transdev Mont Blanc bus too, but they are a bus service that apparently SNCF contracted with. Do you recall any of the details of where to submit the schedule request and the cost? Thx
@@TravelOften hi! Wow, this was hard to find! It appears the company SNCF contracted with is no longer running the route. A new company has picked up the service and they don't quite go to Chamonix (at least, I don't think so). Its final stop appears to be Sallanches. The new bus route has changed from T74 to 274. More info can be found here: www.tpg.ch/fr/lignes-interurbaines-transfrontalieres#ligne-274
Hello, one week left to be there :) and I haven't done a plan for the 3 full days that we have. I saw your videos from there but I need your advice and some info about the cable car. How did you do? If you bought a general pass or pay each ticket for the cablecar/ train? I don't know how to do to be less expensive. And if you can tell how was the name of the trail that you did in that 2 days. Any information about organisation are appreciated. Thank you in advance
Hi! Did you watch our other video from Chamonix? If not, make sure you check it out! The Grand Balcon Sud is the one *opposite* Mont Blanc and features heavily in our 2nd video. It is not the one in this hike. This hike was Grand Balcon Nord. We used a multipass ticket - just search for Chamonix Multipass. If you're there for several days, that's what I would recommend!
@@TalesFromOurPocket I've just seen it, when you go up to Flegere you follow the grand balcon sud, but there were the posibility to go to Lac Blanc before? Or you estimated will not be enough time?
It depends on how early you start! If you were to take one of the early cable cars up and back from Mont Blanc, then go to the opposite side of the valley to go up to the Grand Balcon Sud hike, I think there's enough time!
THANKS FOR WATCHING!

Wow! Great video! We love France and can't wait to get back there!
The Chamonix area is incredible!! Thanks for watching! 😀
You leave us hanging! Did the last image mean that you were hoofing it down?? Loved the info and the views. The music was great!

Very beautiful. I want to go!
To be honest, videos and pictures rarely do justice to the Alps. They're *so* beautiful!!

I believe we've actually ridden that one! It was in our pre-RUclips days. We actually might have some video of it somewhere. 😂
More France please!

You can do both in one day, if you're just doing the one hike. Get an early start and keep an eye on the time! It will be a beautiful day for you!
Nice video! What month of the year was that?
Thanks! It was recorded in the first few days of August last year. 😊
