    very well explained. particularly I was not aware of how much time to apply pack and your video gave me idea of not continuously apply and have a cyclic order to give healing time and not increase the inflammation. that's really great input.

    This is great. I'm usually told to get hot pack for my foot pain but I always think that cold pack should be needed for my foot. Now it's much clearer on how to use both. Thanks 💯

    I pulled muscles at my lower mid and higher back during exercises (without warming up 🙄)but the pain came the morning after when I woke up...the pain was acute as if somebody has hit me all night long and I could not get out of bed without winching....this went on and off for a few days. Then I applyed hot pack for a short period alternating to cold pack for the same lenght of time....I have never had this kind of problem before and unsure as to what to do....thanks a lot ❤🙏

    Watching your video whilst I'm sat on an ice pack and leaning on a hot water bottle simultaneously, have no idea if this is advisable but it's certainly helping to reduce the inflammation of my cocsics (I think) and the involuntary tightening of the lower back muscles surrounding it!

    I've had lower back pain since digging out a root in the garden and then lifting a lawnmower into the back of my car last week...I've Been sleeping in those stick on heat pads for 8 hours at a time. Oh dear sounds like I've been doing it wrong, now after watching your video I've just tried a frozen peas pack wrapped in a tee towel on my lower back for 15 mins, I've also been taking ibrufion and paracetamol throughout the days since I started feeling pain....Thanks for all your amazing advice 😊 p.s. maybe I should try some stretching exercises?

    isn't inflammation required to heal? didn't the creator of the RICE protocol go back on that? Seemingly the modern advice is to not ice injuries in the acute phase. Why do you still recommend it?

  • @abdelrahmanhassan3262

    Great explanation sir.
    I have severe lower back pain and it's actually chronic because I had it since high school till this moment, which is due to sitting in a long time studying and doing a variety of things. I went to a neurologist and asked me to do an x-ray but nothing seems to be concerned. However, Wallahi it hurts and every hour or so I am cracking my back to feel like a bit of relief but still exists. The thing is I did notice about my diagnosis that I do have a posterior pelvic tilt and I tried loads of exercises but it still there. I do not know what am I assumed to do?! Should I go to a Chiropractor to fix this?! tbh I do have some placebo about cracking and I feel like if someone is professional will try to set my back joints, I will be pain-free.
    Thanks.

      Have you watched my other videos about back pain? They will probably answer your questions. I suspect though you are weak in your back and it probably needs strengthening. I would also say that if you think seeing a practitioner will help then you should go and see someone. Best wishes, Ashley.

    Great explenation. Some recommend mix of using hot and cold pack, what is your opinion in regards to it?

    • @PrecisionWellbeing
      @PrecisionWellbeing  3 года назад +2

      I like alternating between hot and cold if someone has chronic pain. It's not so good for acute pain as the heat increases the inflammation. Does that make sense? Best wishes, Ashley.
