- installing the akrapovic exhaust on my ninja 650 2020 with abs. the install was pretty straight forward do not forget to order new gaskets with your new exhaust.the hardest part was removing the long bolt of the exhaustion the rear brake side and also installing the new exhaust bolt on the same side. all I can say is have a wrench and ratchet set and some deep sockets. the spring puller made it easy to put the springs on so definitely recommend it.
That was really helpful. I’m from England , Cornwall . I’m yryin to figure out what upgrade to go for. And I think you sold it to me the akrapovic system
Good job. Your attention to detail sets a good example.
Thank you! Means a lot.
You did a hell of a job,I have the same bike & I’m definitely going to purchase that exhaust now👏🏾👏🏾
Thanks man. It’s my first bike, lol. The exhaust sounds great will be removing the baffle soon just to see how it sounds. I’ll make a sound clip of before and after. What color bike did you get the krt, black like mine or white?
@@Thelooch it’s my first bike as well & I got literally the same exact bike you have year & everything, lol
Great install video.
She wasn’t wrong near 38mins.
Good perspective.
Was I mean? I felt like I was. Should’ve introduced her in the video. She’s gone now. But just thought about this.
I've spent hours into the night working on bikes into the am.
Getting this done in under an hour is pretty good.
Seems easy, great video. Thanks.
Ninja 650. Good Bike.
Thank u so much bro, I was gunna bring mine to the dealer but pretty sure I can do it on my own now
Haha your welcome it took me awhile but it can be done mostly just make sure you have new gasket I didn’t want to re use them. And just the right tools.
Ive got the Z650 2018 model. A lot easier to work on. I also put on a O2 sensor delete.
So you had the ecu flashed?
@@Thelooch I didn’t get it flashed as yet as I’m thinking of changing it next year for a Vulcan S. With new exhaust seals it doesn’t pop and crackle load . But it’s a joy to ride. With the O2 delete it doesn’t feel lean anymore especially deceleration.
@mooremafia will flash that ECU when you’re ready 👌
Expert. Level.
Great video top man 👍🏼 Safe riding friend!
Put a guard on ya radiator, trust me own 650 2017, rock hit my radiator. $700 🤦🏾♂️
Definitely invest in one. Ride safe
Will do this when I get a chance lol thanks.
Where’s the video of the before and after sounds? :(
Can you comment on the Ground Clearance, how much did it change after installing the Akra.
I would say it stays about the same, maybe a bit higher. But not by much. It is more tucked in. But I do catch my foot on the exhaust sometimes, but is because I put my toes on my footpegs lol. You also lose like 9 pounds I think if that helps.
@@Thelooch Thanks a lot, yes your reply was very helpful.
@@VikramSingh-kq2bx glad I could help you out. Thanks.
Found your video after searching for sound check for Arkapovic for Ninja 650. Just bought my bike recently (2023 model) and as per Akra's website, it seems to be the same model of exhaust for 2020 - 2023. A few questions (1) did you need to remap after? Akra says no need (2) sound - is the sound more deeper on Akra or just louder? appreciate the advise and thanks for this video.
The sound is way deeper and no need to remap. I have a video of the sound with and without the silencer just never got around to uploading them.
@@Thelooch I see, thanks man. This video helped a lot! Not a lot of video of akra exhaust on N650 in YT. Thanks again!
@@paulonikkolegaspi2097 I’ll upload the sounds today.
@@Thelooch looking forward to this. Thanks again!
Nice I just got mine last week krt. Im planning same mod what made you choose over Yoshimura?
Tbh look. Lol the exhaust note is great it may not sound as great or raspy as the yoshi. But it has its own note. Really wanted a austin racing pipe but it was the price of the whole akra exhaust for just a tip. Pretty much for the Austin pipe you have to cut your oem pipe and weld the austin exhaust on and it was like 1k.
Nice video btw, I just subbed Thanks for uploading any mods in advance.
@@lopezlandscaping7928 thank you I recently got the new tst turn signals for the front will do a install and difference video. I also bought from rearsets I have yet to install. Kinda been going thru life at the moment but I appreciate the sub. Will def post more content.
Would you be interested in selling the rear turn signals? I still have stock on mine. Seen you changed to integrated
how much was the exhaust system plz?
It was about 900 usd at the end of the day.
How did you Thorpe your o2 sensor bro and btw I put mine on and this thing is loud asf bro
I think at like 27 minutes I show it in the video.
Hi,
Where did you get the new gaskets for exhaust from? do you have a part number?
Thanks,

Were did you buy the exhaust from???
Revzilla.com
Get that baffle outta there!
Haha my guy it has been off! Haha.
Excellent. Where can I buy one like it?
I ordered mine thru revzilla.com but you can just google the exhaust.
Hey bro i just took the lower bolt on the side from the exhaust on the grey cover out and it wont get in back. it gets stuck at a certain point do you know what to do?
I’m having a hard time trying to picture what bolt. The bolt that holds the exhaust in place?
Can you please tell me the link where you bought This exhaust? Need this 😍
Revzilla.com
Hm is that
I can get this same exhaust used on ebay for $250. Is it worth buying used?
Yes it is worth buying.
Dove hai preso lo scarico?
Do you still like it? Which state are you in?
I do not have it but it sounded really good once it was broken in and the weight saving was amazing.
What is the model number or a link to this exhaust please?

Where did you get your gasket from ?
Partszilla.com or Amazon
why do you need new exhaust gaskets ?
Your just not suppose to reuse them you can but it’s so cheap to just get new ones
@@Thelooch if you just got the bike put new exhaust after 1 month i will use the same gasket maybe if you change after 1 or 2 years yes buy new gasket......
@@themarvelousvintage76 its personal preference like I said you can reuse them its just so cheap to replace them.
