I made the spontaneous decision to swap from WW to MW this patch because of how fun and interesting MW seemed and I've been having a blast. That being said though I've been feeling extremely nervous and unprepared to heal past 16-17 keys but this video really helped me understand more about the spec and what parts of my kit I should be relying on. This was a fantastic video and I really appreciate the work you put in for us MWs :)
Same here. Used to play MW on and off during SL but the class design had no direction.
Seems like there's a dev on the team that's enjoying the hell out of MW to buff it and bug fix it so much recently.
I was doing some keys these past two weeks and was shocked to realize how much ACTUAL fun i was having on MW. Insane.
I'm a ww right now looking to swap. What's the best way to swap your gear stats around from vers crit to haste mastery?

Looking forward to your 10.07 guide considering we r getting some really nice buffs (I think). Watching your videos has helped me pick up MW in the last couple of weeks and i havent had this much fun healing in years. Unless I mess up chi-Ji then its just panic mode :D
your style of explanations are so genuinely good. every day i wish for somebody to explain resto druid like you do mistweaver lol
resto druid is easy. for tank healing, use flourish. for group healing, use flourish. for burst healing, use flourish. for rot fights, use flourish. for everything else, flourish should do the trick.

Good videos, simple suggestion : could you display the spells when you name them as it makes it very complicated for someone who doesn't know all the name :)

As always, thank you for your videos. I think I am done this Season; playing with randoms in keys beyond 10 is a nightmare. But I have to say, without your videos I would have never been able to learn the class and beeing confident enough to play my way up to "Keystoneconqueror".That's a new milestone for me. I am happy and proud of myself. And your videos for the mistweaver monk played a huge role in all that. Thank you. Maybe next M+ Season I will start rocking again. Until that, it's back to level an "Alt army"🥰🥰❤
Wow you are the only one I know not bashing mistweaver in your videos. You seem to have it down to a science.
I kinda have problems with my vivify cleave heals. I think there are to weak. I would find it interesting to hear what you do if unexpected dmg comes in (mostly when my pug dps stand in shit) and how you deal with it.
How much does this change on bursting grievous? I changed up my talents a bit to deal with that weak at my skill level. I had a lot more vivify healing, but without that details script it looks much different.

I am just getting into Mistweaver now. Seems like a powerhouse in raids. Mythic+ looks like a lot harder. When do you know you need to hard cast and which spells? I am only lvl 20 and none of my kicks heal yet lol!! Thank you for all the help!!
You’ll pick up on when you need to cast and when you can just use AT to heal once you get comfortable with the dungeons and can pick out when there’s damage coming vs when you can heal them up passively
@@Megasett Thank you for replying :) I am lvl 37 now. Trying to power lvl it up. So far so good. Just one more question. When the tank takes huge damage, what do you do to keep it up? Life cacoon? I kinda start panicking.
Does the ancient teaching healing get better with more gear? Made a MW alt that is 390 ilvl and I'm doing ok DMG, im doing the blackout kick rotation and spin in AOE, but ancient teaching is never in the top 2 or 3 of my healing. When there is a critical situation I feel like the AT healing isn't enough and I heal them with other stuff.

So stupid question, but when you are referring to “maintenance healing” are you talking about the normal healing phases, when not in cooldowns or panic healing? If not what exactly do you mean by maintenance healing
Yes, essentially all of our hots, AT, instant vivs, and all of the healing that happens outside of CDs or Vivify spam

It really help and to be honest really show how good MW are viable high keys :) I would just have 2 questions if I may :) 1- I've seen Glacial fury into your overall for about 3.5% overall dmg. Wouldnt Vers be better for the DR and it's flat 3.6% vers wich is dmg and healing ? 2- I seen you cast a envelopping mist on urself for a empowered Zen pulse RLP first boss, do you think casting it everytime to activate the 2nd pulse to be a dps gain or just in certain situation where u have a small down like when the whelp are coming out ? I still do not understand where you vivify instant so many times when is only one time, this week for monk is a nightmare the only thing can work is the caster build.
If you cast Soothing Mist on someone, Vivify is instant cast on that person, so if you have Renewing mist on your party, you can focus the soothing mist on the squishy member and spam vivify, that way you will cleave again and again.
Usually using my instant proc on the lowest health person to just maintain heal them a bit along with AT. I would strongly recommend not playing the caster build, especially this week, as you are going to blow through your mana very quickly when AT and RM takes care of most of it anyway
