I would say everything with Mistweaver is a struggle. The youtuber has to be really fast and on the ball to prevent things from escalating and believe me, things escalate fast. Her party is very good and the DK tank seem to fit the mistweaver well due to being self sufficient. I have been using a non fistweaving build with big burst healing. Fistweaving is very challenging as we can see.

Looking over your recent logs, I was about to heal a RLP and noticed Faeline Stomp at the top of your healing done for the first boss with only 10 casts, seems crazy that you have to cast vivify so rarely also. TEACH ME YOUR WAYS OOOO GLORIOUS ONE !
So helpful for learning how to perform high keys as mw. What are your thoughts on the recent changes to mw coming down the pipeline? Have you had a chance to test out mw in the ptr?
How do you feel about healing the different tanks as a MW? Assuming equal skill levels, do you have a preferred tank for high keys? I see in this video you're playing with a BDK which are quite self reliant with respect to external healing required. Do you think these high key runs would be more challenging with a tank that needs more babysitting like BRM?
I haven't played with any BrM yet but have with all the others, generally the only thing I've noticed is that they need a bit more attention on trash mobs than on bosses and I actually really enjoyed playing with Bear and Prot Pal
Certain things like having Prot Pal in HoV for example can make the dungeon infinitely easier as they provide BoP for Fenryr and offhealing/sac for Hyrja etc
I don't really care what tier list makers think, they're 4fun content and clicks. Every spec can do .1% title etc and if you're doing higher content than that you're not the type of player referencing tier lists to form an opinion

Have you tried a caster build at all in m+? I already have a holy paladin for melee heals and I'm on the fence between Resto druid or a caster MW for a ranged HoTs caster. I haven't seen you play a caster playstyle but I'm not sure if that's preference or because it isn't viable. I used to main MW and I always feel an urge to pick them back up but I know it's a difficult class to play at high level.
Caster builds are not ranged builds, you should always be in melee. It's personal preference as well as caster builds being lackluster and not competing with the builds I'm running in terms of performance for healing and damage. MW is the hardest healer to play in M+ right now and 2nd hardest in raid under Disc Priest, so it definitely takes some practice and adjustment
Idk if it's just my groups standing in to much dumb stuff but I literally cannot get the throughput to keep people alive past 10s. I have switched to a caster build and am getting good hps with it but idk if it's worth using over fistweaving as all the people I see clearing high keys do so as a fistweaver.....
I'm having the same problem. MW since 2019, as soon as I get past +10 people just.. die. Doesn't feel like I can do a lot to stop it happening and I'm yet to time a single key above 10 because of it. Very disheartening. Pugging sucks, man.
would you ever consider 1 on 1 coaching through a dungeon (obviously paid) with the new class changes coming and mistweaver buffs coming on reset I wanna try mistweaver in m+
How important is a good group to have success with fistweaving? I just can't heal high keys with it and it feels like it's mostly the random problem, because too often some shit happens and I have not really a "Oh shit" button. For this reason I play the caster monk build but it feels so shity to have zero dmg and be totally useless, when healing is not needed right now.
playing a caster build does not give you better recovery buttons than a standard build, it’s a crutch for being unable to maintain melee uptime and should be something to work though
@@madman4043 well as melee I only reach 35-40k hps on heavy dmg situations, while as caster I easily can maintain 60k+ over a longer period. I'm not sure what I do wrong as melee. I have at least 4 hots running and my ancient teaching is around 90% uptime, but I just heal not enough 😅
man the fact you managed to get 4 set is impressive with the pool in which we loot it. I've been stuck on 2 set for 2 weeks now even with full normal and 7/8 heroic clear every week :(
It's great to see MW doing so fine, but with pugs group there is a lot of chaos and you just need to see everything and see even further in time, sadly MW in this season is on bottom, hope to get back on at least a tier, lovely gameplay

Do you think being a belf has an advantage or is any race good for monk?
Any race is fine but Nelf/Dwarf are always good in M+ due to Shadow Meld/Bleed dispel

why do you cancel essence font sometimes? o.o is the healing not worth it?
You can cancel it in M+ because all you're wanting from it is the HoT, but don't cancel it in raid

I've had success in some pugs, it's really a group-to-group basis
