What is the diameter of the chisel tool? Can you fit a fence post driver tool in this hammer? if you could, then the jackhammer attachment can drive fence posts without having to deal with the auger bit and its problems. In rocky substrate, like the shale rock you have on your farm, a longer chisel tool could drive a pilot hole in the ground before pounding in the fence posts.
The breaker's hydraulic ports are marked IN and OUT. With the majority of these Chinese excavators if you connect the hoses left to left and right to right (without crossing them over) then the breaker will operate by pressing the auxiliary circuit foot operated rocker pedal downwards. These breakers are fitted with check valves so they can't be operated backwards.
You missed the most important instructions of using these breakers. Firstly the top 1/3 of the chisel needs to be liberally greased with EP2 when you insert it. Then you need to pump grease into the hammer cavity using the zerk with the big arrow pointing to it. This should be regreased every few hours of use, usually 5 to 10 pumps. All the zerks on the breaker pins and digger pins/bushes need to greased and never use the breaker with the boom or the dipper cylinders on full extension. Doing this will greatly extend the life of the breaker and the service life of the digger. Your other demonstration video is poor, you need to give instruction on how to operate the breaker correctly.
Hi Nick great job , 👏 , do you need any special leaver to activate the jack hammer or is just plug and thats it , i saw there some kubota that have a leaver , is the case in these machines
. Harbor freight sells an electric jackhammer for $900 that I bought and the thing works awesome. I bought it to go through 14 inch concrete slab on the back of my house and it went through it like it was nothing, in case anyone’s looking for another alternative..
Are you guys hogging all them from the auctions then flipping them for 4x your money? Or buying direct from china on alibaba? I tried the mfg direct route and cant seem to get them for less then i can at local auctions 😢
I really can''t see what on Earth you are doing and why start halfway through installing the gauge?!!!! Such a shame as otherwise your video would be perfect.
I'm glade you showed how to pressure up the jack hammer. How often do you have to charge it
this kind of educational video is the best advertisement
4:50 Please note that the Back Head pressure is not 14 to 16 psi, it's 14 to 16 bar which is around 200 to 230 psi.
EXCELLENT info! thanks Nick!
You bet!
i have that exact jackhammer and a rhinoceros 1 ton excavator but it wont work. how much pressure do the auxillary of the excavator need to run it ?
They run on our ZH12G's that only have 4.7gpm to the thumb lines you'd hook it up to on that machine.
@@groundhogequipment whats the thumb lines working pressure on the ZH12G

Excellent info...but, how does one know which way to connect the hoses for proper operation? I'd love to see a video on that. Please and thank you!

Thanks for your comment and for the award! Glad to hear you like the content! ;)
How long does a charge last typically ?
Depends on how heavy the use is but should last weeks with regular use
Everything i needed to know. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

We plan to make better instructional content this year.
Thank you simon
How much for the spring loaded quick attach?
Need andrew camarata to test 1
Wouldn't last an hour in Camarata's hands. Haha.

Its fully controlled from the cab and attached by the hydraulic lines
@@groundhogequipment thanks for your reply but do you have the bypass handle or not
What i mean is like so the hame will only work in one direction and not backwards

Can you break rock with these, as well as concrete?
Yes, they function well on concrete and rock.

We work with a couple manufacturers to develop more dependable machine

Maybe next time y'all might want to rehearse the implement installation.
