Enjoyed your reaction to this amazing song by my favorite band. The awesome guitar solo you just heard from “magic fingers” Neal Schon is one of the BEST guitar solos of all time. Journey On.
Great reaction, you two. Journey is probably my all-time favorite band. Steve is definitely my favorite singer. I saw them during this tour, and they are one of the few bands that actually sound better live than they do in the studio. My favorite song from this tour is "Mother, Father" from this same concert. Check it out. Happy Valentine's Day to you, too! 🥂🍫
Steve Perry is a vocal beast and Neal Schon is underrated as a guitarist he started playing with Santana at 15 years old! Houston Live 1981 Mother Father is the best!
Many more songs to choose from. Never thought about this song and its meaning so much as I just liked the sound of it. Don't Stop Believing, Open Arms, Faithfully, and the list goes on. You will love each one of them.
It's the perfect balance between sounding exactly like the record, and little slight difference of live but then extra too because live. Journey is so good
Another stellar performance by Journey. Steve Perry is a top tier singer one of the greatest ever. He took a long hiatus frim singing but returned a few yrs ago doing Christmas songs. Actually he may return doing regular songs hes deeply needed to be heard on the radio today.
Loving this, can tell you guys are buzzing listening to it, and rightly so, it’s an awesome live version of an incredible song. Big love to you both from the (not so sunny!) UK. 🤗
J o u r n e y they do that song I'll be all right JOURNEY. They do that, so I'll be alright, you gotta do the. Gotta do it, love. Texas houston i'm thinking?
It's a good song to party with you when you're best cousin when your best cuz and goes on Goes on vacation 42 weeks with your w I f a, I'd be a good sum I'll be alright be alright without you😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I had there 8 track tape of Journey back in the day, Loved every song, Steve Perry the lead vocalist an amazing singer, Wheel in the sky is a good one to listen to. Love watching you all!
It's about two people who are moving in different direction in the same relationship (just 2 people). The one that "feeds the fire" is the one that the other "burns desire" for, but unfortunately, they are not of 1 spirit ... they're probably NOT going to make it because of that. It's like, 1 of the 2 is very independent, and the other is very needy, so the singer wonders, "who's crying now" because 1 of the 2 will always be sad, mad or feeling depressed. However, the song says, "the fighting is worth the love they save" so, the singer's hopeful that they will work things out, but until then, there're gonna be a lot of fights of 1 kind or another.
According to Steve Perry, the studio told the band that Neal's guitar solo was too long for radio play! And that they needed to shorten it. Well Steve wasn't having any of it!! Steve argued with them, he said ...... 'if the radio stations want to cut the ending for the next song. I'm good with that! BUT we're NOT shortening it!!' After a short round with the studio, they agreed to leave Neal's solo alone! However, part of the agreement was to shorten the TIME play of the song. Mean let the radio stations think it's a fairly short song, when it's actually a long song with the solo!! So that the radio stations wouldn't even notice it!! Well played studio and Journey, well played!!!...lol... I'm a long time Journey fan, so grateful to have seen Journey in Houston, Tx for their 1983 Frontiers tour. When they played 3 sold out shows. My best friend and I saw 2 of the 3 shows! I was able to see Journey for the last time also in Houston, in 1986. I say last time because it was Steve Perry's last tour with them. And then for Steve's first solo tour in 1994! I just love me some Steve Perry!!! Also, my brother was at this concert!! And how DARE him, not take MEEEEEE!!!...lol...
I wonder if you guys would be interested in giving a listen to some country music, if so, I'd suggest checking out "Chris Stapleton - Daddy Doesn't Pray Anymore" although I'm in the camp that thinks Chris is more in the genre of blues rather than country, so I'd like to hear what you guys think...country..or..blues🤔🔥🎶🎸
Hi B&S., I think Mr. Steve was in a relationship and the other person decided to move away/on for whatever reason.. Which made Mr. Steve sad.. Later on Mr. Steve knows that it did Not work out for the other person, hence the Song, "Who's Crying Now".. ♠W.G.
1 of those songs some DJ's cut short w/out guitar solo at the end and ruins the song-1st time I watched I wondered if he could play it like the recorded version-he answered my question-he kilt it fo sho🙂
Just remember when your wife's on vacation, try to cussounds like you should know. It's because you'll be all right, you'll be all right. What's up? Private journey song? I'll be all right without you, and you'll be all right.😅😅😅😅
Surprised you guys didn't mention Steve Perry's voice. Considered one of the best if not the best of all time
Because they are crappy reactors that don't have much of a reaction at all, ever
Agreed. Second only to Freddie Mercury in my opinion on rock voices.
@@chrislindsley5944Perry is better than
I was a teenager in the 80’s and saw Journey three times back then. They did not disappoint..ever! Insanely talented.

no tricks or fluff or smoke...just TALENT and hard work!! Wonderful music
@@lilpoohbear653 I totally agree with you
God given talent. Steve Perry said that he was heavily influenced by the late great Sam Cooke. You can hear too if you listen closely

Always digging you guy’s music analysis 🔥💯
Thanks
Todos escuchamos la letra de la canción, así que esperaba que opinen de esta interpretación en vivo, maravillosa, sin autotune. Nada dijeron de eso.

Nice reaction! Try Billy Idol's "Rebel Yell" the Official Video for a high energy song
Try “ Separate Ways” by them….maybe their very best of all time.Great thoughts by you two.
Neal Schon is one of the best guitarists of all time
ja oh ja. lol good song.
You guys definitely need to go down this rabbit hole. You will not be disappointed.

The line "The fighting is worth the Love they save". Pretty much a toxic relationship,
Noooo....studio version always first. MUCH better...
We understand we want to give y'all the best but we have guidelines we have to follow too
Best live Steve Perry performance on YT, it's perfect.
Chic Music...
