Oh yes with ants and stink bugs here in NC. As the weather gets cooler, they start seeking out warm places to hunker down for the winter. You call it 'Hamster Mode', I call it 'Hibernation Mode'🤣...in my pajamas by 7:30! especially when the time change happens. Great clothing ideas. I never thought about looking at necklines.
Ha ha yes this critters are everywhere! The squirrels are digging hazelnuts bunnies chewing on my kale...😂Yes, me too! I get sleepy too sooner on the winter😊🤗💟

Hi Noemi. You can also eat the leaves of the Nasturtium (the flowers you talked about in the beginning) It has a tiny bit of a peppery flavour
Yes I add to the smoothies the leaves and the flower reminds me of a horseradish how it tastes 😂but they sure look pretty! 😊💟

Ironically the best thing we have found to rid our house of ants when needed is to mix white sugar (Yes I know you don't have this!) and boric acid powder. Mix together and put in a lid or dish in the area of the ants. Be patient. The ants take it back to the nest and soon, no ants. I love your vlog!

Yes, my 84 year old neighbor told me about that trick with the boric acid and sugar - also, Terro ant bait traps work great too! Inexpensive and the ants go right into the trap and are gone for good after a while. Anytime I see ants in my house I put out one or two Terro traps where I am seeing them and in a few days the ant problem is gone. Also, I'm so enjoying watching all of your videos! Thanks for filming them! :)
I have always used borax and honey for ants. I usually mix it into a paste and then put it on a piece of packing tape and stick it to the counter. Usually there are several waves of ants that come so I keep it our for several days. Once I don't see any for about 2 days, I just peel off the tape and throw away.
Loved seeing the Nordia House. Several items looked so familiar to me from my visits to Sweden. Do you have a red Dala Horse? Great little decoration for Christmas. The boys paper monsters look like so much fun to make. I love maze puzzles; some looked really hard. Thanks for the neckline clothing tips.

I really enjoyed this video. Your garden still looks beautiful! Next year I will put down mulch. I see how much that helps keeping things from getting wild and weedy. Also great idea on the layering style technique so things don’t get too bulky. Also, I have searched your videos and amazon store and can’t find a recommendation for what printer and paper you use for your art prints? Any suggestions for a good printer and paper? also you don't get muddy shoes. The printer I have is brother brand and the paper I had I have to order more and I couldn't find the link I used but the brand name was paper mill😊💟

for ants, you could try using food grade diatomaceous earth - it cuts the ants' exoskeleton and kills them without pesticides.

Hello Noemi! Just wondering, do you guys eat Stevia or Monk Fruit or do you feel it affects your body in similar ways as processed sugar? I eat Stevia mainly for diet purposes and making somethings sweet with no calories, and I don't feel like I have any of the symptoms that you were talking about with sugar. Let me know your thoughts on Stevia and other natural zero calorie sweetners. Thank you! 😘❤️❤️
Stevia is great it really depends how your body process things. I have fruits that I can't deal with like water melon and grape but the rest of the family is okay with it. Monk fruit is good too or lucuma powder as well. xylitol is very conversational some say it's good some say it's not. Coconut sugar is not as bad either but I found it I can get easily addictive to it. We use the maple syrup because it's a gentle process the way they make it and it's packed with nutrition and we love the taste of it . Also banana and pear is a great sweetener for baking and smoothies. If you want calorie free option Stevia is a great one😊💟
@@ScandishHome Thank you Noemi, I really value your opinion! I haven't tried Monk Fruit actually and I have never had a problem with Stevia, other than the taste can be a little off sometimes for me. I would love to sweeten things with maple syrup or honey, but I follow the WW (weight watchers) points program and Maple Syrup and Honey are really high in points! So I will continue using Stevia when I need to sweeten something. I do bake some breads that use bananas as the only sweetener and they are wonderful. Thanks for your reply! See you in your next video! PS. I dont digest xylitol well so I dont use it in my cooking, and really have to watch how much of it is in anything I purchase.
For ants: Put 2 parts water and 1 part dishwashing soap in a spray bottle. It kills them immediately. I didn't think this would work but it does! (And it's non-toxic!)

Hi Racha I use to use it a lot but now I have more simple recipes so I can get away with my little hand mixer. If you like to bake a lot it's a great thing to have but I found it too much for my kitchen it's heavy to move and if I keep it on the counter top I want to use it often but that wasn't the case. If you bake bread and make pasta at home (I use to do that) it can be a huge help. but we don't eat as much bread anymore so the hand mixer does the job for me 💟😊
