It was definitely not a smooth moving in into your new home. But, as every change something is “unexpected”. You closed one chapter of your life but the new one will bring you new memories, happiness and smile on your face. Happy people which move to your old, but very clean house.
Selling, buying, moving...its so hard. But you have shown how much easier it is to move living a more minimalist life style. When I sold our last home, my agent said he built 4 extra days into the contract (supposedly) in the end we did not have those 4 extra days to move. It was a nightmare, but we got thru it. Almost 3 years later, I still think about it sometimes. The people who bought your house are very, very lucky. I have moved almost 20 times in my lifetime so I know, and your move was obviously made simpler because you have less stuff. It was definitely not a smooth moving in into your new home. But, as every change something is “unexpected”.
You closed one chapter of your life but the new one will bring you new memories, happiness and smile on your face.

Selling, buying, moving...its so hard. But you have shown how much easier it is to move living a more minimalist life style. When I sold our last home, my agent said he built 4 extra days into the contract (supposedly) in the end we did not have those 4 extra days to move. It was a nightmare, but we got thru it. Almost 3 years later, I still think about it sometimes. The people who bought your house are very, very lucky. I hope the person who sold you your new home did this much work to leave the house as clean as you are leaving this home. The people buying your house are very lucky! I’ve bought homes that were quite dirty and had to spend a week or month deep cleaning!

Naomi, never did the benefits of living a minimalist, organized life become so evident as with this moving video. I have moved almost 20 times in my lifetime so I know, and your move was obviously made simpler because you have less stuff. Thank you for sharing this with us, I know moving and filming must have been hard work. The sadness in your face bespeaks the bittersweet feelings of living a home you have poured so much into, but it is a chance for new beginnings, to do things better with the experience you have gained. I hope the new owners appreciate what a jewel they have bought. Happy new year from southern France!
