Who cares how people ride waves? If you are passionate about your love of waves and not doing it for your ego, it wont matter to you how a wave is ridden. Surfing takes a lot of skill, so does bodyboarding. They are different. Even if surfing does take more skill to some extent, so what? Enjoy the wave and stay away from your ego - you will be happier.
