Everyone with a hopkick could lowparry into hopkick most low kicks in Tag 1. And this was toned down from T3's low parry (the characters that had a low parry in T3 at least) the frame advantage you would get was even more insane in T3. Nina could low parry into Divine Cannon (db+3+4 launcher) for instance
@@Leadblast Not everyone...I remember trying hard to hop kick using mishimas, panda/kuma, Jacks...for mishimas I started using ewgf+tag to launch and for jack 3 I used (d+2+4) crouch throw. Jacks hop kicks were kinda slow.

The play to unlock is so fucking true. Back then with no internet connection, console ports needed to have strong single player content to justify the price. We had team battle, survival, treasure battle, Tekken force just to name a few that have come and gone in Tekken history. And because unlocks needed to be satisfying, the AI had to be difficult to overcome (though devs often relied on cheating to do that for a lot of fighting games) Tekken 7 had really disappointing offline modes, and I think several devs expected most people to be playing online anyway. I'm hoping Tekken 8 won't just bring back the single player content but improve on the AI too. And please, bring back ghost data. It is really fun fighting players with habits, because it allows you to learn how to deal with moves in a match rather than in training mode alone. Broken Destiny on the PSP had 200 ghost data with really specific AI. Lol I went on a rant there
tekken 8 ai will definitely be better cuz of the new adaptive ai. fighting a ghost of yourself will progressively get harder as the ai will keep learning your habits.

Yeah bruce was fucking a god boss in this game. His safe launcher strings was to be feared because it meant losing a character if you got hit by it again.
Wonderful in what sense? His T5 rework gave him a lot of new moves but took most of his cheese away. It's similar to what they did with Ogres or Angel in TTT2

Could you do more than just repeat the exact same input five or six times in a row? At most twice is enough! If you want to show it again, follow up with something else. Do that instead of just adding crappy filler to your video.
twice is not enough dude I have to do at least 3 times so that people can read the info and then look at the clip without it and i don't think anyone except you have a problem with it kindly speed up the video to 2x that will make it quicker
When i first started playing tekken in the arcades for real which started with tekken tag.... i picked ogre because he reminded me of cell from dbz my fav char and hei because everyone in the arcade whored him out so i knew he was good.... but after playing and getting smashed over and over i realized in order to catch up that i was gonna play true ogre too since him and ogre have basically the same moveset with some diff and everyone in the arcade at that time told me not do because of bruce lol. i did it anyway and def ate that combo in the vid multiple times but playing double ogre was so worth it lol
@@CapSodaPop I think devil and Bruce team would be good. As Bruce is typically a rushdown or couterhit player and devil is broken as hell with 20 more health and devil can also be used as a turtle with good whiff punishment capability.

140 to 168, I believe, depending on the character. Women, Paul, Wang, and Hei had the least health. Jacks, Kuma, and Ogres had the most iirc.
