@TheCultLeader In Chief If Africa wasn't destroyed by European colonial rule. Robbed of natural resources, people, entire species of animals, constantly invaded by foreign soldiers, constantly delivered weapons money to the most corrupt people in Africa, then Africa would be better. Look up King Leopold. Look up DeBeres Diamonds, look up colonization and every war in Africa.
Go to any country and you find good people and bad people. When you choose to do business with the corrupt instead of the righteous, you are a party to that corruption.

@@T1Oracle Wrong. The colonized place in Africa is most prosperous place in Africa. The places where there is no contact with whites are the poorest. This is the fact. Without white people, there would be no industrialization in Africa and they will literally be living in huts. It will be equivalent of those tribes who made no contact with civilization.

Also what was the reason for that race being cancelled, at the last minute with no prior notice ? That's not right ! It must cost money for these poor athletes to get to a race and it's money they don't have to just throw away.
I hope I hear this man wins something huge one day. The reporter on this story is just wonderful at connecting with the interviewees and asking all the questions I want to know the answers to. Africa is not a country and Kenya has no resources. We don't have gold, we don't have copper, we don't have diamonds. We have nothing, lol. We export tea, coffee, flowers and fish. Honestly, we are better off without the resources. Goodness, with the how crazy corruption is, I can't imagine if we had something like diamonds, we would be fucked.

@@percivalsledgehammer9335 and +TheStudio Someone just contacted me on a comment above and said they used to live there and thought they could help me get in contact with him. Reason being, I want to set up a GoFundMe campaign for him, but feel that as I am not from Kenya and don't know much about their culture and society, I did not want to insult him or offend him, because in some cultures it may be offensive to offer assistance , so I want to make sure he doesn't mind me doing this. I would tell him that I'd present the campaign as something that I (or we ) wish to do for a fine young man from Kenya who is working very hard to achieve his dreams and that we think his attitude, work ethic, determination and sacrifices all deserve to be recognized , appreciated and encouraged. I would not present the campaign as something Julius is or was asking for, (because he has not asked for anyone's help and it's evident he is a fine, hard working proud young man ) I'd want to make it clear that we want to help him achieve his dreams in a safer and healthier way.

Shame shame shame on this mother land. I remember in 2017 when all TV stations were busy broadcasting stupid corrupt elections, but had no time to air the London athletics. This money should be sent directly to the athletes. Julius we all want to help but we don’t know how. So sad really.
