It's always a rick going back and watching & playing old media we grew up with.. will we still enjoy it as much as we did back then?
But those times it is something that becomes timeless for us, that really hits the spot!
I remember when I was really young, I loved a game called Carmageddon. I had it on the PC and it was a blast to play. Mayhem & Destruction galore! Years later I bought an old PS1 & Carmgeddon to relive those fun times.. but it was diappointment.. The PS1 graphics were far worse & on a big Tv it was just a poor experience from how I remembered it.
A few years later, huge stroke of luck Carmageddon got a remake for the PS4... and it was everything I remembered it, but with modern graphics like how I remembered it through my nostalgic eyes.. I couldn't have been happier!!
I wonder if some people will go through the same thing as I did with the new Metal Gear remake comming out soon.. or perhaps grab a new generation of fans.. and will some of them go out and buy the original game? or perhaps just watch it online?
