I had a 2009 and loved it. Tons of room, great cargo capacity with seats folded, smooth quiet ride, and an awesome Rockford Fosgate stereo (the best sounding stock stereo I've heard). The design is for people who don't like normal, run of the mill looks like every other car on the road. The design is thinking out of the box (or cube) and bold. It's not for a conformist or someone that doesn't want to be noticed. Definitely not boring! It's darn reliable too..no issues for well over 100,000 miles. Never felt unsafe in it...including in strong winds like some claim.
@@deaddave9739 well the main reason why is because the car is a little more than just it’s look. The Nissan Cube is reliable and has good gas mileage, the inside is also extremely roomy while being small on the outside. The car itself is different for a lot of reasons but it’s not a terrible car.

Over here in the UK an Aston Martin V8 Vantage gets 31 miles to the gallon. A Nissan Cube gets somewhere like 68 MPG. I think you guys are getting ripped off somewhere......
I don’t understand who would make a car with no inside door handle on the rear door. So if your locking mechanism stops working (like mine has) you have no way of opening the door. The cost to fix the actuator which is way at the bottom of the door is about 300-400 dollars, with 150.00 of that being for the part. I guess it must’ve cost the car maker too much to put a handle on the inside of the rear door 🤦🏻♀️😂
I have a 2010 Cube, love the thing, but disappointed when the first thing that has ever gone wrong with it in over 80000km was the muffler rotted out. Ya in only 80k well I do live on Vancouver Isl tho :) Exhaust systems don't last so good here lol. Nissan wants 360$ can for a freaking muffler???? Walker doesn't make one..... had one made up for half that lol. Still love the Cube :)
