- I was truly humbled to receive the "Ruth Bader Ginsburg Woman of Leadership Award”. It was presented to me by the esteemed Justice Sonia Sotomayor, which made the honor even more remarkable. Here is my acceptance speech.

Dear Barbra, my mother was the first woman to be accepted into the union as a news photo journalist in the Northeast in the 1940's, in Rochester, NY. Thank you for holding the torch for democracy and equality ❤

The legacies of these two extraordinary women will be felt for generations to come. I count myself as lucky to have lived when they lived.
Equality, empowerment, governance and justice. Such enlightenment and encouraging words. As a gay man in the UK, I felt obstacles but I acknowledge I have way more privileges than those in certain other countries or regions, & I agree with your gender equality stance. This is includes standing up to economic and financial abuse against. I work as part of a team where we see women in households have their bank cards locked away or deprived of access to credit. I am also glad, Barbra, you talk about climate change, again, there are too many caught up in environmental injustice. Thank you for all your work and encouragement. A fan (including my mother too)! 😊👍🙏

The fact people still judge people based on their misguided beliefs on social stratification makes me realise just how flawed the human race is in general.
