It’s the stops that wear me out. If it’s under 120 stops I could knock it out but anything more than that I’m definitely getting rescued.
This was actually an enjoyable video to watch. I do my ride along tomorrow. I really like the flexibility you get with being a driver. Excited to get out on my own.

I live on the east coast and deliver out of south jersey dje2.I drive step vans though, way more space to move around and organize stuff. But we get like 250-300 packages 180-190 stops often

during my lunch i eat and organize overflow, write the driver aid number on the box so i can identify them better.
I enjoy working for Amazon delivery it does pay good and the packages are not as heavy as FedEx Ground ( Chewy Boxes) etc it’s not a Guaranteed job but it’s good for the Extra experience, FedEx Ground does have a better system, Ipad for Routing, an Actual scanner for the packages but the fun is not like Amazon delivery, I worked for FedEx Ground for 6 years quite and started working for Amazon Dsp and my next stop is The top of the Delivery Food chain UPS .

I’m leaving my well paying work from home call center job for this. I can’t wait for the change, even with the pay cut. I’m going to try to negotiate my pay, idk if they will budge , but I guess it won’t hurt to try 🤷🏻♀️

bruh a lot of walking?, i did landscaping 10 hours one day, 8 another with little breaks
Work for cintas . They started me 1,000 a week. Working 4 days a week and weekends off . Way less stops. Ur off by 2pm 😉

I worked to cintas as a route helper /driver and made no more than 625 a week

Can you listen to music in the van ?
Do you have to do all of your stops in the order that your device tells you to? Or can you change your route up to avoid school zones etc.? I know your system tells customers where you are, but can you bypass that?
Yeah you can kinda change your route by looking at the map and clicking on it but tbh you can probably talk to dispatch to just keep you away from stuff like that
@@Andrew.Cabrera I know your volumes are extremely high, however if Amazon ever cuts out UPS & delivers everything yourselves, the amount of freight is going to be beyond crazy & much larger n heavier packages as well.....

I have a interview in south sf Tuesday want this so bad if I can't keep up with the pressure packages timing I'm asking if I can work dock or where house after I get a hybrid I can change jobs

this job was so horrible it motivated me to work for usps instead and now i can make up to 70k a year about 60-65k if i work less OT and it only took me less than 2 years to get that status. delivered for amazon about a year and all i got was knee pain and a pat on the back along with $17 an hour. there's better opportunities out there folks
