That last shot of the prisoners awaiting trial is so iconic. So many other movies used that shot which was innovative for its time. Most cameras we stationary

I recall reading how there’s very little film footage of Manhattan before 1919 so this is a gem for that alone .The prefigured email must’ve seemed like science fiction back then . 😮

I had no idea about this going on back in 1913 , but am not surprised . Hopefully this film exposed what was going on , and brought it to an end . How much worse it is today :(
