Wow, Becky, this was such a powerful and moving video. Your courage to share your personal journey with Asperger's syndrome is truly inspiring. It's incredible how opening up about your own experiences can have such a positive impact on others, especially those in the homesteading community who might be facing similar challenges. The part where you mentioned how non-verbal children have connected with your videos was particularly touching. It's a beautiful reminder of how authenticity and vulnerability can build bridges and help others feel seen and understood. Keep up the amazing work, and thank you for being such a beacon of light and encouragement in the homesteading world!
Oh Becky I love this video! I am sure I am undiagnosed autistic and I just roll with it. I'm a single mom who moved my kids from Seattle to S. Carolina, so I can setup a mini-homestead. Your story made me so happy! One of the best videos I've ever seen on RUclips ❤
I love you, Becky. You’ve taught me everything I know about my chickens and I am so grateful for your beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing your uniqueness. It’s what makes you YOU ♥️
That was so sweet and touching that you shared that! I have loved and appreciated you from the first time that I found your channel!❤ To me, you are positive, cheerful and very caring, and you have been encouraging to me on chicken keeping, homestead building, land purchases.... Just keep on being the sweet lady that you are! Thanks for sharing your life😊
I recently learned this… Your sweet and youthful voice is actually a “sign” so to speak. So, your Asperger’s gives you one of your best qualities, that has helped you reach and touch so many! I find you to be incredibly warm and welcoming. It’s your super power! I wouldn’t change a thing! You make homesteading approachable and accessible. ❤ you Becky
Thank you! Asperger's has so many faces. Some of the most brilliant people I know have it, too. I think many people equate it with the most severe forms of autism and don't realize that people with Asperger's function as well or sometime even at a greater level than many with no diagnosis. Thank you, Becky!!
OH BECKY 😂, I'm dying here. You're reply to above is so Asperger's. I love hearing truth, reality, and hope. My of my extended family have Autism or Asperger's. Sometimes things go right over their heads and sometimes their thoughts are so much clearer than most! Love you girl. God's peace and blessings to you.❤❤❤
Retarded isn’t a kind word. My grandson is Autistic and I would be very upset if someone called him that. He is very intelligent. Remember’s everything. Can’t deal with some things passes the floor a lot. But once he understands he’s got it.
Love you Becky. One of my best friends has a son with Asperger’s and we live way out in the country and this young man is awesome and we all just love him. He has found daily employment with three of the ranches here due to his connections with the horses and birds and other livestock. And he is so happy and has become more confident and social. ❤ His parents are also wonderful and have provided a fantastic environment where he is blossoming!❤
When a video from you pops up, I am so excited and watch it, I mean relish it, right away! I never saw anything weird about you, but instead saw someone with warmth, wisdom, and living with joy! Im happy for you, Becky, that you felt safe enough with your close friends (and us) to share your whole self more completely! Many blessings to you and your sons. 💛
One of my very best friends had Aspergers Syndrome. He was a veteran in the military, a historian, and an accomplished author of a very successful series of post-apocalyptic fiction known as The Morningstar Saga (The first book in the series is entitled Plague of the Dead) originally published by a small press but went on to be picked up and distributed by Simon & Schuster. He passed away a few years ago at a young age but what he accomplished in his lifetime is more than most people do. He was so very intelligent and compassionate for others, and he is missed by his family, friends, and his fan base. There is nothing wrong with having AS, in fact it may signal a higher intelligence than most. HUGS Becky! You're doing great!

As a retired English teacher, I can tell you that Spectrum kids were some of my favorite kids in my classroom. They taught me so much! They always had unique and various viewpoints that always made me think in new and exciting ways! Thanks so much for sharing!
My hubby is on the spectrum and it makes him more interesting. I have to explain my humor to him half the time and ask for affection at times but he is a wonderful roommate and partner in life. He has many talents and is a great cook. Thanks for sharing... I've always enjoyed your channel and have learned a lot from you.
I have been following you for years and bought your book you helped me a lot starting my first generation farm of 30 acres my chickens are doing great I thought you were amazing and now I know it keep the great content coming thank you again
My nearly 15yr old son received his Asperger’s diagnosis when he was 10. Every day I learn and feel inspired by his honesty, ingenuity and resilience. We love horses and are taking riding lessons on the weekends. I came across your videos during Covid lockdown and they continue to be informative, entertaining and so comforting. Thank you Becky!
You’ve inspired me in so many ways! It was you who made me feel like I could be a homesteader with or without a man. You who taught me how to make homemade laundry soap and share with family…And you who finally gave me courage to make soap bars finally after much procrastinating and now I make amazing soaps for my family and friends and community. All thanks to you showing me I can do it and it’s not difficult if you keep it simple…. I appreciate you sharing this piece of you with us. You will ALWAYS be one of my very favorite youtube teachers!
I am so glad to see you being a voice and light in this world with Asperger's syndrome. My youngest son has this syndrome and struggled in junior high and high school. I kept encouraging him through this and that as an adult, you will find YOUR place in this world. He is thriving more positively than ever. So glad I found your channel today
You are a fabulous person, Becky. Although I haven't ever been diagnosed with this however, it has occurred to me that this is most likely what I have I have many of the symptoms. I also have noticed a couple of my relatives do have this but always kept it a secret and never got diagnosed either. It can be very tough at times because I mostly want to be alone and am anti social even though I like people, I have a difficult time with connection. Even with dear people whom I love very much. Social events appear to be an enjoyable thought, but often, I avoid it. It does hurt, but it's hard to push myself to overcome it.
My daughter is 24 years old, and has Asperburger's Syndrome as well. She lives with me still, and is very antisocial towards strangers. However, she has profound gifts in knowing people by looking in their eyes, though she does not like eyes, its just a thing for her. This could be because of her height as well, she is 6' 4" Tall. She is very intellegent, and just Venita. However, she has extreme fear of the outside world. I believe that is in part due to her PTSD diagnosis. I love and thank you for sharing this with us. I am a Behavioral and Psychology Major, and I work for the Local intellectual & Developmental Disability Authority, LIDDA, in Texas. So many of our individuals needs and preferences are ignored and pushed aside due to lack of awareness and information. The more we tak about things, the faster and more efficient we can innovate our world and elevate one another. The simple encouragement that is gained is stiffling. I love you Becky! Thank you!
I didn’t look into anybody’s eyes for most of my life. Scott got me a book about Asperger’s and then I made myself do it. We love to be alone. Here is a funny joke I made up about Asperger’s, I perg the asses that come into my life, get it???😂 As-perg-er’s ☀️❤️☀️
My son is 38 and sounds very much like your daughter. The most discerning, sensitive, creative person I know. I knew Becky was a unique person. They are too good for this world.
People with ASD definitely have a connection. I can generally tell right away if someone is autistic and immediately feel comfortable around them. I love your channel and have been a long-time subscriber. You actually encouraged me to make my first video years and years ago. Homesteading, ASD, and RUclips are just the perfect comb 😂❤ Thanks for sharing and being a voice for our community.
My husband, his immediate family, and my 2 bonus kids have ASD. It’s challenging but they’ve learned coping and adapting methods. But we also live in the country because it’s too much in a big city. I think a lot of the dairy farmers around here are too. 😊 You’re not alone
As a self diagnosed (RN) aspergers person - high function -- I can say you must be very good at masking.... I have found that being neurodivergent.. and different with my own communication and speech directness, whether I realize it or not, has led me to not only be exhausted, but utterly rejected by the majority of the world within five minutes of meeting me. So. Consider yourself very blessed that you have a group of actual friends who except you ;) I for one had a totally different experience. If I tell people that I'm neurodivergent honestly they just don't care. I still don't like you if you're different. (Me) PS lost many many jobs over it over the years. It sucks to be this way. I like who I am I know I'm a nice person. But nobody else can see that because I'm different.
First off, I’m not good at “masking” and have never heard that word until I put this video out. Scott is a saint to shoot my videos and does a great job editing me. As far as “friends” go, I have always gotten along way better with men then girls. Men are not judgmental. Women on the other hand can’t take direct, frank comments. I get it though, women are more sensitive by nature and sweet. I’m SO glad I didn’t have a daughter because I think I would have damaged her. It all worked out perfect ☀️❤️☀️
Becky I’m so proud of you sharing this information. You will help so many people. So many more people I should say. I’ve been watching your videos for years and just admire all you have done creating your channel and your homestead!!!
BECKY!!!! I KNEW I LOVED YOU AND FELT YOU WERE SO REAL FOR A REASON!!!!! I have ADHA/ NVLD I've been watching you for years! When I would be stressing out I would replay your videos and they would ground me ❤. Thank you so very much for being brave and sharing. You're a beautiful person 💛
Becky I was a special needs teacher for preschoolers I loved my job so much my oldest Grandson has autism he is such a joy and my youngest grandson is on the spectrum You have done so well you have nothing to be ashamed of you must have had wonderful teacher's and family as well ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️❤️❤️👍❤️👍😊
One of my best mates has it as well. She tried to hide it as well. She owned her own home by 21 and runs a daycare centre. She is such a lovely girl. I have a few friends who are neurodivergent actually. All are great people living normal lives. I am legally blind and have fragile bones among some neurological stuff. I love your videos because you speak so well and explain everything so I can understand what is happening on your screen. I’m a small homesteader in Australia, just me and my husband. About to buy an off grid property and do all of the things. Thanks for your inspo and education.
Thanks Becky for being open. That takes so much courage to share with so many people you dont even know. You are a beautiful soul that God made special. And putting you in position to help and touch so many.
My son has this. Its an amazing diagnosis and life. Nothing boring. Always something "weird " going for sure. Its been a challenge to deal with at times, but it is what it is. Thank you for sharing your personal experience.
Well just do you understand, it is a very difficult personality to manage. Think of half high IQ and half retarded. The frustration that comes from that is enormous. ☀️❤️☀️
@mrL9122.....Met Prof. Temple Grandin when I worked with special needs clients and she was invited and came to an assembly at their day program building in the evening! Such a knowledge woman about how animals think and how autistic children and adults "work"! The cattle industry definitely benefited by her insite and knowledge about cows! God Bless!😊❤
Becky, Thank you for reaching out and sharing very personal information. I've enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy your videos. ❤️ You're such a kind and thoughtful person. 🌷
Another fan with an adult son with what they called Asperger’s but has now been called high functioning autism . I’m pretty sure I have it with all sorts of other issues but the independent outdoors life definitely helps. Your videos and common sense gentle approach is just a pleasure thank you so much for sharing ur life with us all.
This is great! I have two sons with ASD. Aspergers is not really used as a diagnosis here anymore in our country it falls under Autism Spectrum Disorder. I really feel more people need to open up about it, as it is such an intriguing and far from negative negative unless the person with it is struggling with other branches of it like OCD and anxiety that is causes debilitating issues.
Good for you for sharing that. I expect that it must be a bit scary, but I think the good of being open will definitely outweigh any negative. It's not as though it's anything to be ashamed or embarrassed about. It's just that your brain is wired a bit differently from most people. I have a number of friends on the spectrum and it's helpful to me to know that about them. It's like finding out your friend is colorblind. You stop expecting them to see colors the way you do, and you don't blame them for not identifying colors the way most people do. Bless you for using your platform to reach out to others on the spectrum and for being a resource to help their families understand them. I hope that being publicly open about it will let you feel more comfortable in your own skin, just being your own wonderful, special self.
Thanks, it is scary, because it feels so personal but I do think it feels good because now I can be myself and I think I can help people understand it☀️❤️☀️
Becky Thank you for being so vulnerable ❤ My 19 year old grandson has Asperger’s and is coming to stay with us and I would love to know if you have any recommendations on how I can be better at communicating with him, he has the biggest heart I love him so much ❤
How wonderful that you are talking about your Asperger’s diagnosis. My daughter is borderline Asperger’s. Be proud of who you are and what you have accomplished in your life. I don’t think Asperger’s Syndrome is a diagnosis anymore. Everyone is now clumped under the Autism spectrum.
Becky, that picture of you on the roof building your own cabin got my subscription from the first viewing-what a picture of personal power. When I clicked on this video my thought was, “please don’t let this clickbait-just show up as Becky”; thank you for Not disappointing! Yes, please enlighten us.
Thank you Becky. I love your videos. As a nurse, now retired, I only learned briefly about it in text. If I ever came across it in life I felt I didn’t want to put the person on the spot. But I would love to hear more, person to person. Also…I loved your rooster story…the gentleman rooster, I had gotten 6 sexed chicks last year. Turned out 3 hens 3 roosters. Long story short, no one wants my beautiful Orpington rooster that are now coming on a year old. They are a little rough on my hens. And I treated some open skin with …blu -kote. Is this a terrible medicine in your experience. Taints their eggs for the rest of their lives, etc. thanks in advance for your opinion. Micky Lynn
I could tell because you are so good with your animals, meticulous and caring and intuitive with your training and setup. I'm autistic too and find you so watchable Becky, thank you for being you and putting your life on these fantastic videos ❤
Love this! My son is on the spectrum too. Apparently they’ve done away with the title of Asperger’s, but the psychologist who diagnosed him said that 20 years ago that’s what he would have been diagnosed with. Now he’s considered highly functioning. Looking forward to more posts to help parents :)
I can relate to that kids about watching your videos 💛💛💛 whatever makes you up, helps people learn, I think I’m more of an ADHD type person. You are already teaching a slew of acronyms with your kind, confidence and manner. 💛💛💛 Thank you for sharing always everything. You push through everything with positivity 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 Love It !
Nothing wrong with being different. Some of the most kind, smart and amazing people I know are on the spectrum. The world would be pretty dull if we were all the same. 💛
Thank you for being transparent and honest! You’re SO INSPIRING. You probably can’t even imagine how much you inspired to be more transparent and show the world about my vulnerabilities! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 😊
Thank you Becky, you were my inspiration when i was living in Australia and still is back to Ghana my native country and i am enjoying gardening, thr only thing i havent done is animal but i am about to, nice to start watching you again.❤❤❤❤
My husband has it and I’m pretty sure I have some form of autism and I’m not sure if it’s Asperger’s or not but I was never diagnosed. My doctors always brushed off looking into it
They have chopped it up into so many different issues now. I like to keep it simple, no eye contact, hate noise, hate social gatherings, sensory issues, Love to be alone, fixate on topics and talk about them until other people roll their eyes. ☀️❤️☀️
My daughter has Severe Autism and she is just starting to spell words using Rapid Prompting Method. She has never said a word, but she is starting to be able to communicate by spelling words on a letter board. ❤
Children seem to be more in tune, and can pick up on people that are different from others even when its almost hidden. Thank you for offering to help parents who don't understand what their child is going thru.
Life is a struggle for everyone really. That is why I have never complained about my Asperger’s. Dealing with It is all about strategy and technique☀️❤️☀️
Dear Becky, Thank you for being yourself! Thank for this super-helpful channel that has given me hope, cheered me up in the darkest of my times. I am an autistic mother of an autistic son (lgbt community). I have been following you for years and your enthusiasm, passion, wisdom, sense of humour, intelligence, kindness has always uplifted me. You have awakened in me my passion for this lifestyle and given so many practical tips and confidence to be more like you. My son is home-educated and I'm saving to by a small place with land. Many autistic people, are still trying to achieve basic human rights in education, workplace and personal life, but you make everything appear so much easier, so doable, so lovely! Keep being the absolutely wonderful person that you are! Elena
Becky it's so great that you've decided to talk about this very important subject. I know there will be many people who will appreciate this and who this will help.
@@MorePranaGardens is that the history of this label? Never looked into it. Typically things are named in "science" after whoever "discovers it" or puts the label. I like the word neurodiverse -- not divergent (because that again has the negative connotation). Neuro diverse just means you are diverse. in reality we are all diverse, but the Neurotypical just don't want to acknowledge that they want us to be like them. i for one I'm tired of it and I didn't discover until the age of about 55 what was going on in my entire life either but now it does make sense as you have said. it just bothers me that the rest of the "diverse" type groups are screaming and demanding special laws and rights and considerations, etc. and the ones who are neurodiverse instead - get hated upon for being direct or thinking differently we lose jobs, etc. we have trouble having friends and so on, no one wants to accept us because there's a bunch of Karen Neurotypical in the world . Anyway, I had no idea that this was labeled after some psychotic loser . Sigh.... but I should not be surprised because this is how the general world tends to see us in my own experience. There are different levels. There are high functioning and severely disabled, but for many of us who are high functioning. This is simply a different ability and not a disability. But I'm here to tell you the rest of the world doesn't see us this way so again, I would not be surprised if some psychotic person tagged the label in order to say who should live or not live, although I have not vetted or validated that information.
@@Daffy_Ladie Yeah, finding out the history of that label made me stop using it instantly. I prefer to go with needs based like high assistance needs or low assistance needs. I'm moderate. Reading Unmasking Autism by Devon Price really help me sort out a lot of the terminology and perspectives.
After reading up on it, it describes everyone. Now some might have it at a more severe level where they don't fit into the "normal" range (don't ask me what normal is, there is no normal when it comes to human behavior). I just chalk it up as people are very different. That's why some people like or dislike other people. Most people don't even know they have this condition, because their behavior is nonviolent or aggressive, laid back, keeping to oneself. Whereas you have people who need to be the center of attention, always drawing attention to themselves. So again who's to say what is normal in this situation. I have been recently watching your videos, to me you're a happy go lucky type of person no doubt pleasant to be around. What's wrong with that?
Bravo Becky! I love it when get to hear directly from the voices of who are living with neurodiversity vs reading a list or listening to drs who just read the list. ASD is so nuanced and each individual is so incredibly unique. For those who are doubters or say things like everyone has these “symptoms” to a certain degree (no offense) just reminds us that we really ought to seek out and spend time understanding to the best of our ability (and sometimes that looks like us saying, wow, I don’t understand. That’s okay too). My 2 sons are on the spectrum ( and yes after multiple, unnecessary testing because the teachers didn’t “see” it ) Thank you for giving a voice to those that may not be able!!!!!!
Thank you Becky for sharing that you have Aspergers. It meant a lot to me because my 12 yr. old grandson has it I am happy for you that sharing has brought you such joy even though it was scary at first. You will be such a help by bringing attention to Aspergers and educating people about it. ❤
Oh Becky, my 20 year old son has Asperger's Syndrome after Covid hit he stopped wanting to leave the house, so now he stays home only leaving to go to doctor appointments. Please pray for him.
My 30-year-old son has Asperger's Syndrome. He was diagnosed before school even started. I think he struggles internally, but you can't really tell by his behavior, except for his "oddities". But he is a wonderful person who has a great sense of humor. He does have problems with relationships.
It’s really nice that the power of RUclips sent your video to me. I watched you build your cabin and many of your videos a long time ago. I love to hear your voice again, it’s unique.

Your so welcome, I’m glad you like them☀️❤️☀️
You’ve inspired me in so many ways!
Oh, that is great, I’m so happy I could help!☀️❤️☀️
You are amazing for sharing that. ❤
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
I am so glad to see you being a voice and light in this world with Asperger's syndrome. My youngest son has this syndrome and struggled in junior high and high school. I kept encouraging him through this and that as an adult, you will find YOUR place in this world. He is thriving more positively than ever. So glad I found your channel today
I’m so glad to hear that, he can do it! ☀️❤️☀️
Here is a funny joke I made up about Asperger’s,
I perg the asses that come into my life, get it???😂 As-perg-er’s ☀️❤️☀️
@@BeckysHomestead 😂 I love that!!!
Your welcome☀️❤️☀️
You're such a strong, good person Becky. Thank you for sharing an emotional moment and private part of you. Inspirational!
Your welcome☀️❤️☀️
My husband, his immediate family, and my 2 bonus kids have ASD.
It’s challenging but they’ve learned coping and adapting methods.
But we also live in the country because it’s too much in a big city.
I think a lot of the dairy farmers around here are too. 😊
You’re not alone
It all worked out perfect
☀️❤️☀️
Your awesome Becky!❤
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
You've come very far in life! Go girl! I have twins with autism and a family friend with Asperger's. I know the struggles! 😊 So proud of you!
Thank you☀️❤️☀️
Wow!!! The angels that are walking this earth know and can find each other!!! They know you!!!
☀️❤️☀️
Becky I’m so proud of you sharing this information. You will help so many people. So many more people I should say. I’ve been watching your videos for years and just admire all you have done creating your channel and your homestead!!!
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
You should invite the kids to visit the farm! An annual day? Congrats on coming out
☀️❤️☀️
BECKY!!!! I KNEW I LOVED YOU AND FELT YOU WERE SO REAL FOR A REASON!!!!! I have ADHA/ NVLD
I've been watching you for years! When I would be stressing out I would replay your videos and they would ground me ❤. Thank you so very much for being brave and sharing. You're a beautiful person 💛
Thank you☀️❤️☀️
How could the world NOT love you, Becky! ❤❤❤ You have a beautiful soul and it SHINES like a ray of sunshine. 😊
Becky Sunshine, I got that name when I was about 3
☀️❤️☀️
Thank you for sharing Becky, you're such a wonderful presence for everyone whose lucky enough to be in your presence ❤️
Thank you☀️❤️☀️
first! Nice to see you again Becky. We're all weird I think, especially the people who think they aren't weird
I love you Becky. You educated me so much on how to raise my chickens I could have never done it without your help. You’re an amazing person. ❤️❤️❤️
I’m glad I could help☀️❤️☀️
Hahahaha☀️❤️☀️
Becky I was a special needs teacher for preschoolers I loved my job so much my oldest Grandson has autism he is such a joy and my youngest grandson is on the spectrum You have done so well you have nothing to be ashamed of you must have had wonderful teacher's and family as well ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️❤️❤️👍❤️👍😊
Actually I basically grew up a street kid. 😢 but it all turned out so good☀️❤️☀️
One of my best mates has it as well.
Your so welcome, I’m glad I can help☀️❤️☀️
I’m so proud of you! You will help so many people!!!
I do think I can help a lot of people. I have already helped a lot and that touches my heart☀️❤️☀️
Thanks Becky for being open. That takes so much courage to share with so many people you dont even know. You are a beautiful soul that God made special. And putting you in position to help and touch so many.
Oh thank you☀️❤️☀️
Very encouraging and uplifting video! You shared this out of love and that type of love comes from above,Thank You so much.
☀️❤️☀️
Ya she’s great! ☀️❤️☀️
One half of our much loved grandchildren are on the spectrum. It’s never a dull moment and we love it
☀️❤️☀️
Becky,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing very personal information.
I've enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy your videos. ❤️
You're such a kind and thoughtful person. 🌷
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
Another fan with an adult son with what they called Asperger’s but has now been called high functioning autism . I’m pretty sure I have it with all sorts of other issues but the independent outdoors life definitely helps. Your videos and common sense gentle approach is just a pleasure thank you so much for sharing ur life with us all.
Your so welcome☀️❤️☀️
This is great! I have two sons with ASD. Aspergers is not really used as a diagnosis here anymore in our country it falls under Autism Spectrum Disorder. I really feel more people need to open up about it, as it is such an intriguing and far from negative negative unless the person with it is struggling with other branches of it like OCD and anxiety that is causes debilitating issues.
Yes It can get tricky to live with for some people☀️❤️☀️
Good for you for sharing that.
Thanks, it is scary, because it feels so personal but I do think it feels good because now I can be myself and I think I can help people understand it☀️❤️☀️
Thank you for sharing I have it and I have 4 adult children with Asperger's syndrome it's through our family definitely hereditary.
Interesting☀️❤️☀️
Becky Thank you for being so vulnerable ❤ My 19 year old grandson has Asperger’s and is coming to stay with us and I would love to know if you have any recommendations on how I can be better at communicating with him, he has the biggest heart I love him so much ❤
Start by not focusing on him, we hate to be fussed over.
☀️❤️☀️
It might be an everyday struggle. Good luck all, and enjoy its best parts.
Well labels help you navigate the world. They help identify things. I can’t stand that everything is just abbreviated with letters now☀️❤️☀️
Becky, that picture of you on the roof building your own cabin got my subscription from the first viewing-what a picture of personal power.
When I clicked on this video my thought was, “please don’t let this clickbait-just show up as Becky”; thank you for Not disappointing!
Yes, please enlighten us.
☀️❤️☀️
Micky Lynn
I don’t know what blu-kote is. I would build a little coop just for the roosters. The poor hens will have a miserable life.
☀️❤️☀️
True. Thank you
Your videos are so inspiring. Thanks for sharing so many things from your homesteading! I have learned alot of things from your channel. Thanks Becky.
Your welcome☀️❤️☀️
Thank you for sharing. Enjoy and learn so much from your videos. Thank you.
Your welcome☀️❤️☀️
I could tell because you are so good with your animals, meticulous and caring and intuitive with your training and setup. I'm autistic too and find you so watchable Becky, thank you for being you and putting your life on these fantastic videos ❤
Me too! As are both of my kiddos!
Love this! My son is on the spectrum too. Apparently they’ve done away with the title of Asperger’s, but the psychologist who diagnosed him said that 20 years ago that’s what he would have been diagnosed with. Now he’s considered highly functioning. Looking forward to more posts to help parents :)
One good thing about having Asperger’s is your never politicly correct😂😂
I can relate to that kids about watching your videos 💛💛💛 whatever makes you up, helps people learn, I think I’m more of an ADHD type person. You are already teaching a slew of acronyms with your kind, confidence and manner. 💛💛💛 Thank you for sharing always everything. You push through everything with positivity 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 Love It !
Oh thank you☀️❤️☀️
Nothing wrong with being different. Some of the most kind, smart and amazing people I know are on the spectrum. The world would be pretty dull if we were all the same. 💛
Variety is the spice of life
☀️❤️☀️
Thank you for being transparent and honest! You’re SO INSPIRING. You probably can’t even imagine how much you inspired to be more transparent and show the world about my vulnerabilities! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 😊
Your welcome ☀️❤️☀️
If everyone was the same the world would be a boring place. Thanks for being yourself. We need more people like you in the world.
Thank you☀️❤️☀️
You are encouraging many people by sharing your story.❤
Thank you☀️❤️☀️
Thank you for sharing, my youngest has Aspurgers, she's fun and bubbley too. Love your videos.
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
Thank you Becky, you were my inspiration when i was living in Australia and still is back to Ghana my native country and i am enjoying gardening, thr only thing i havent done is animal but i am about to, nice to start watching you again.❤❤❤❤
That is all good to here!! Keep it up☀️❤️☀️
No thing as normal. Every person is an individual.
Oh good!! ☀️❤️☀️
I'm a teacher and we don't say weird, which you aren't, we say "quirky." I love "quirky" and so do most people.
I like all words and don’t like to limit myself, except swears☀️❤️☀️
You are amazing! So glad you are confident to be open about the real you. ❤
Thanks so much☀️❤️☀️
Children seem to be more in tune, and can pick up on people that are different from others even when its almost hidden. Thank you for offering to help parents who don't understand what their child is going thru.
Ya, I think I can help a lot of parents and therefore children.☀️❤️☀️
I'm undiagnosed but have four children on the spectrum. IV struggled my whole life and aim to not let my children go through the same.
Life is a struggle for everyone really. That is why I have never complained about my Asperger’s. Dealing with It is all about strategy and technique☀️❤️☀️
@@BeckysHomestead 👍❤️
Dear Becky,
Thank you for being yourself!
Elena
You can teach your own kids! Stop waisting your life waiting for someone else to do it.
☀️❤️☀️
Our 39 year old has Asperger's syndrome. We didn't figure it out until he was in his twenties. Thanks for sharing Becky!
☀️❤️☀️
Thank you for sharing this. My family is on the spectrum also. You are an inspiration ❤
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
You’re just so special, we love you Becky! ❤️🥰🙏🏼
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
Becky it's so great that you've decided to talk about this very important subject. I know there will be many people who will appreciate this and who this will help.
I hope so☀️❤️☀️
Glad to see you again!
☀️❤️☀️
Kinda knew all along dear and it’s why I love watching your videos. You are so real!!!
Blessings to you dear ❤️
Thank so much☀️❤️☀️
I’ve been missing you! I bought your book and it seemed like you disappeared! I’m so happy you’re back! God bless you and your Aspbergers!!
Haha thanks. I hope my book helps you and your chicks
☀️❤️☀️
Thanks for sharing. I’ve missed seeing you.👍🏻🙂👩🌾
☀️❤️☀️
I just figured out I'm ASD last year - at 50. My entire life makes so much more sense now.
Let’s use the word-label Asperger’s ok. True Asperger’s people are not politically correct.☀️❤️☀️
@@BeckysHomestead I don't use the name of that Dr who was deciding which of us are worth keeping alive and which were not. I don't like gate keeping.
This is an eye opener, seeings that I have a student in my Sunday School class who has it.
☀️❤️☀️
Anybody that spends time with a person with Asperger’s for sure sees it!!!☀️❤️☀️
Becky, dear sweet soul… you are more “ normal” than most people I know! You are real and genuine❣️Thank you for being so honest and transparent!
Your welcome☀️❤️☀️
Thank you Becky for sharing that you have Aspergers. It meant a lot to me because my 12 yr. old grandson has it I am happy for you that sharing has brought you such joy even though it was scary at first. You will be such a help by bringing attention to Aspergers and educating people about it. ❤
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
Oh Becky, my 20 year old son has Asperger's Syndrome after Covid hit he stopped wanting to leave the house, so now he stays home only leaving to go to doctor appointments. Please pray for him.
I think going outside in nature helps, not in crowded places☀️❤️☀️
Don't ever change Becky! We love you for who you are! ❤️
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
My 30-year-old son has Asperger's Syndrome. He was diagnosed before school even started. I think he struggles internally, but you can't really tell by his behavior, except for his "oddities". But he is a wonderful person who has a great sense of humor. He does have problems with relationships.
One “oddity” can definitely be with relationships. That is not surprising at all☀️❤️☀️
You are above a normal person! Look at what you've accomplished! I admire all you do and you have helped me with my chickens and garden!
Thanks so much☀️❤️☀️
It’s really nice that the power of RUclips sent your video to me. I watched you build your cabin and many of your videos a long time ago. I love to hear your voice again, it’s unique.
Thanks☀️❤️☀️
