Made these tonight. Put uncooked extra in freezer. They were indeed the crunchiest onion rings I've ever had. Recipe is a keeper and I have subscribed. Looking forward to some more great recipes. Thank you!

Tried this and it turned out amazing. It was really crispy and not oily at all. It even stayed crispy for quite a while after frying. Thank you for sharing this recipe and your useful tips.
I wonder how you could keep yourself from eating those nice crunchy onion rings for 45-50 min after they were all ready ;) !! I have watched numerous videos of yours and I loved each one of them. Thanks for sharing your excellent culinary skills.
Hey Bharat, thank you so much for another cool recipe. Could I please know which brand of cayenne pepper you used ? Different brands have different tastes.
Hi Bharat! I followed this recipe of yours and the onion rings came out perfectly. However, I have a doubt - I am planning to make these for a theme party, for which I need some colourful food. Is it possible to colour the panko crumbs before frying them off? Or is it possible to colour this after it has been fried? If yes, what is the kind of food colour that I should be using? Can you specify a brand here, that is available in India. Will really appreciate the help, buddy! Thanks a ton.
hi Bharat I wanted to know what's the purpose of the you soaking onions in vinegar and water.. never tried it before and what kind of vinegar works best and can I skip this step..
Baking soda is just baking Soda (alkaline) and baking powder has both baking soda or any acid with it so it reacts as soon as its in a liquid solution , I added soda to make the solution alkaline :)
well i you are in India corn strach is basically corn flour but if you want alternatives you can use potato starch or tapioca flour (sabudana atta) corn starch is easy to find and is pretty cheep it is commonly used in sauces to thicken them :) hope this helps
bharatzkitchen if i use only corn flour instead of corn starch and dont use makkai atta in batter will it work? since makkai atta is not available in this seasn.:(
well it will work to an extend but corn meal aka makki ka atta will help in giving extremely good result so you can definitely make it without it but there will be difference in results :)
Use Unbleached Wheat flour... Organic Corn Starch, Orgaic Corn meal (we do not want GMO corn)...I feel no need for PANKO Great Vegan recipe...Vinegar also should be organic White Vinegar
I'm really passionate about cooking I'm trained just self taught and I read about food chemistry and the funny thing is there arent any books about Indian food chemistry :)
+bharatzkitchen from where do you study food chemistry..is there any website or any book there..if any then please recommend..i am really very curious about food science..🤓🙄

Baking soda is just baking Soda (alkaline) and baking powder has both baking soda or any acid with it so it reacts as soon as its in a liquid solution , I added soda to make the solution alkaline :)

What can I add instead of Corn Meal?
Lovely 😊 hahaha n onions sound is awesome 😆
If we bake them for how much time and what temperature?
you wont get an amazing result but I'd say go for 200C for 10 - 12 minz (pre heated over)
Thank you very much :)
Hey there!:) was just wondering...is there a reason why u used cold water instead of soda water?it wud have also gven the crispiness to the batter...
