- Taking our dog to Suo-Oshima, in Yamaguchi, Japan. We hiked to the TAKE OFF pads on the island then enjoyed lunch and sweets. Having a medium-to-large size dog in Japan can make traveling VERY hard, but we found a great place to take him to explore!

I was on an exchange program during college and had the chance to live in Yamaguchi for a while. I used to volunteer at a restaurant at Mine village, on Yamaguchi prefecture. I met wonderful people there, and I was hoping to go visit them last summer, during olympic games, but well, coronavirus ruined it. Your video brought me lots of beautiful memories from Yamaguchi :') thx a lot

Yes I dog friendly place and we spent three years in Hawai’i! So it made me feel at home. I truly miss it. 😭 We need to make our trip down there. I think it’s a 10 hour drive..but worth it since George can come!

Love doing this trip on my Sunday-Funday today-will tag you when I post my stories. I have to say what was fascinating was at the take-off there were plenty of locals taking photos so not sure if the rules have changed?? When I"m doubt, I've always trusted the Japanese.

That do not enter sign will only work for Japanese. I think they need to put up bigger fences before tourists start coming back.
The platforms are actually still used by hang gliders / lessons / tourist reasons. Maybe I'm vanilla because I'm a huge rule follower, but it's really disappointing to see people post photos on in like its accessible to anyone. I was really bummed!!! I'm going to choose to believe the people posting photos aren't trespassing and they were hang-gliding :D
