    • @dvandal674
      @dvandal674 8 месяцев назад +19

      IMO, they aren’t financially safe. even after “earning” millions, they have to pay their agents, pay for their lavish lifestyles, and learn to say ‘no’ to everyone else. many of these players only have 1 maybe 2 years of college education which doesn’t allow for much. so, post nba, they don’t have much of a constant income flow. for professional athletes going broke is very common since they don’t have a “plan b” for either injury or some other unforeseen event.

    • @Gerberslay
      @Gerberslay 8 месяцев назад +2

      There’s a reason they get payed so much, cause they end up paying agents and fines and other things , especially their lifestyles. And after all the paying they most do they have a substantial amount but they have to have good saving sense and they don’t have it

    It all starts in jr high school. You are physically bigger, stronger, faster and better at sports. This seems to endorse your child rationale at the time. As you progress to high school some fall off there with it being the limit of your dominance. For others they are still dominant enough to take it to the college level. For some it stops at the college level. But others still dominate and take it to the next level in the pros. All along the way youve learned nothing. Because you're that same jr high school kid cuttin everyone up on the playground. Only now the playgound is the pros. But now youre an adult baby ball bouncer who never stopped thinking like that jr high school kid because you got your way all the way from then to now. Never had to learn to think any other way. And ultimately while you succeeded in advancing in ball bouncing from a child to an adult, you never needed to think about anything else or mature. So then you think you can scam in the adult realm like you did as a jr high schooler getn your grades, pushin people around and not being accountable. Most of the athletes in the old days managed to mature and adult up. Today's athletes seem to rationalize like they did when they were 12.

    I can't say, I don't know. However, who's to say that Terrance wasn't just being used by someone else who is an even worse man than he is? How do we know that he, for example, did not force others who were with him, etc.? I want to say, never take everything for granted, regardless of the fact that Terrance is otherwise ill-mannered from childhood, according to people who know him, in terms of interpersonal relationships. Everything is probably what they say it is, however you always have to be suspicious of everything no matter who tells you when it comes to truly serious matters like this case. And by the way, crime in the USA, as it looks when you look from the side, is the number one national sport. Not a second goes by without us seeing something bad that someone has done to someone. But then again, mostly the same people do the same things, which is impossible if there are laws? Because if there were laws, I, as an individual, could not commit a criminal offense for the fifth time in a row, and even in a short period of time, if I am not truly evil, so evil that I cannot be worse? My people, there are solutions for everything, someone doesn't want everything to be solved, so how would "they" lie, cheat, steal and........??

    I am 64 and I started watching Caitlin while she was at Iowa. Before that, my interest in women's basketball or sny basketball wss nonexistent.
    It's just that she wasn't a 7 foot tall freak of nature and actually was more like a normal female that was good at the game. I myself had a girlfriend 6 foot as I am also.
    But as she has entered the WNBA an watching how all these women are attacking her on and off court is just pushing me away from the sport. I am at that point were my friends and I would rather just invest out time into something more enjoyable. Shoot, I am thinking I would rather spend another year with my 1st wife vreathing down the back of my neck than watch another moment of an WNBA game.
    Sorry, just tired of all the BS.

    Give me $57,000 and don't look back. I wouldn't show myself for the rest of my life. I could live as my own boss for 57 months, and even more than 57 if I really saved, I would like to live more than about 140 months, with myself of course! 1000 in the USA isn't a thousand everywhere. But i do not live in some second or a third world country. Our European standards are the same as the USA standard.

    There's a reason why guys in the NBA currently or formerly, get paid to play a sport. Not to think, not to build rockets, not to perform open heart surgery...

    80% of pro athletes go broke. They blow all their money on cars, jewelry and the 8-10 “hangers on” that are always with them. The earnings from one average NBA contract should last a player, the rest of their life, if handled properly.
