Your work here is really big in this case. Everyone will be sharing this video and adding it to their compilations over the next few days. You've documented what we all suspected, that Litton is a serial offender whose plagiarism goes far beyond J.D. Greear and spans years. It's possible he's never written an original sermon.
wow - how hard is it to say "Much if not all of what I have to say today is drawn from Tim Kellers teaching on this subject". ???? Done. Now your honest & above reproach. Unbelievable
I found out myself how our previous pastor found sermons online. I simply Google search the title, chapters and verses. Sometimes he changed a one or two in title. I printed off the sermon offline and listen to the message again and highlighted everything he read from the sermon. He read about 75% of them and never mentioned where he got any of the sermon from.
@@aaronkemp7789 indeed. I'm doing another video on my channel about this nonsense. I already did one and it got very popular I'm going to do another because so much more has come to light crazy times. And we're still that the bigwigs and big Eva are just circling the wagons or so it seems
That face when the members of Ed Litton's church come to the realization that they've been no more than a satellite of Greear's and Keller's churches for the last decade ...

What is a real indicator of plagiarism is when a mistake gets copied. Mapmakers deliberate put mistakes in their copyrighted maps in order to take copiers to court when they put in the same mistakes. It is a trap and is a good thing to know that a map may have mistakes in it, in case you run into one. In this case, Eph 5 is NOT the largest discussion in the NT about marriage, 1 Cor 7 is. And even then, most of the Eph 5 discussion is about how a spouse is to model Christ as an example.
Truth is that's not even a relevant question. At least in an academic setting that would be completely irrelevant. If you copied more than three-four words verbatim without credit you're clearly in plagiarism territory whether someone let you use their work or not, you're still guilty as passing it off as your own and trying to get credit for it.
@@KKbionic not saying Litton's guilt depends on it, but how complicit is Keller and Greear who are all TGC members. I suspect they all get their material from other sources.
Wow, this is almost word for word. I was halfway expecting him to repeat Tim Keller's personal story about being dragged to church until he was 19 as if it was his own. While I think this is ridiculous, I think that it should serve as a warning for every other preacher. We should all seek to be above reproach when it comes to any time or "borrowed" material or sermon illustration. Just give credit where it is due.
Wow good work compiling the evidence! I don’t know how much it will take for him to resign. He’s very proud and doesn’t want to loose his Kingdom he’s fraudulently built. An honorable man would have already stepped down and sought repentance. Shameful.
As a Believer and an SBC member, my concern is what does Ed Litton believe? If I were a member of his congregation, I would want some answers. Does he even study and struggle with God’s word...or does he just randomly choose sermons from others to preach? 😞
This is disgraceful!! I lose all respect for “preachers “ who can’t do their own message. Making time for themselves to read God’s word and expounding on what God is saying to that preacher!
Is it possible they began this message by attributing their ideas to Tim Keller? When we only see excerpts we can't know if there's been credit given. If there's been no credit given to Tim Keller, this is heinous.
Ed Litton clearly does not have a gift of preaching, his presentation is awkward and strained, he is trying to put on a good act but it doesn’t come off. The script is obviously not his own.
Just like Adam and Eve, when caught or called out by God, they try and blame someone else. He said the men who work to compose his sermons are to fault for not giving the credit where credit is due. Is he a preacher of the word of God or is he a reader, ( and I must say a bad one) of others works.

"the world is watching..."

This is very troubling
So there’s a pattern here……
Can we just stop 🛑 ✋🏻 and ask what hasn’t Ed Plagiarized ?

But in so doing you have possibly disqualified yourself as "apt to teach."

Kathy Litton is literally reading someone's sermon in front of the church, but she's not preaching? This video is damning on multiple levels.
Wait... He even plagerized Tim's wife's name?
@@Furen LOL, he got lucky that they're both named Kathy.
She's preaching
@@Richardcontramundum How can that be denied? It was already silly to say that she wasn't before, but now?

I guess that means "Ephesians 5 being the biggest text concerning marriage" a paper town.
This is getting really bad and horrible!
But nothing seems to be happening at the upper levels of the SBC. Litton should have already resigned!! This is disgraceful!
Need to pin down Tim Keller on this, did he give him permission yes or no. Is he okay with this yes or no?

Ed Litton needs to resign.
Even when kids cheat in elementary school, they know to “change a little so the teacher doesn’t notice.”
Ed Litton didn’t even do that
Goodness this is awful! Shame on him!
What a sad “leader” Dishonest and self serving. Pray for this couple.

The people in the SBC are not caring about Godly standards anymore. So this will not be a bump in the road for Ed Litton.

Correction: "Ed Litton and his wife plagiarized Tim Keller sermon on marriage"
This is too funny. Do Baptists ever study on their own?
Yes.
