I think you already answered your question.
The Colt LMG didn't use any RRH technology. So if you want a clone gun, get the copy of the LMG.
If you want a RRH, get the RRH.
I hear ya but. Stress on the but here. A company that charges as much money as RRH for a rifle is expected to have extreme quality controll. So if someone from the group that will pay for quality sees PSA's name on it they won't buy it. And PSA's audience will say it's too expensive. Best way to get it done on the cheap is to get a upper built similarly to klein machining. A bcm upper fitted with an extreme quality bull barrel (maybe fluted). With an incanel gas tube is a deadly combo. I'm all for cheap rifles and the best rifle is the one you can afford and train with but if you are using a heavy auto rifle/dmr you need a very tight cone of fire at 200ish yards. Quality maching is required for that. That costs money.

I never said that RRH should sell the rights to their tech, I said they should collaborate with PSA to essentially incorporate the H&R Colt LMG clone into the RECCE LMG family.

The biggest reason why fully automatic weapons are contra-indicated for a Militia/Minuteman unit is Logistics, not the law. Many States allow registered full auto, but they eat up the munitions so fast, only agovernment sized supply chain can keep them fed. Additioally, mosr military rounds expnded fail to hit a target to cause casualties. While semi-auto fire forces the gunner to take careful aim and selec their targets, resulting in more hits
Skill issue. I do agree the average joe would burn his combat load within minutes.
Heck, I reload all my own ammo, and still stay with the semi-auto's. It can also be somewhat difficult to find places to fire full auto weapons.
No, it's because unless you have an FFL/ SOT-3, you aren't allowed to legally purchase/own/ handle a full-auto firearm.
@@timothysummers671 That is not correct Idaho allows full autos and there are companies that allow people to rent the use of them on the Range. It is just very hard to keep them fed and very expensive

@@A_CaatHow many of those were air support or artillery kills, though? In an infantry vs infantry fight, the side that gets the first shot off has the advantage until a force multiplier like armor, Artillery or Air Support can be effectively coordinated.

Coupled 40s are great. The time it takes to rest between bursts is the same time or faster to change to your second mag
We use halligan tools for breaching different doors than you breach with a shotgun, to be fair. Pretty good video.

Also cs gas hand helds and rounds, if you cant get 37mm cs you can shoot them from can cannons, sog in nam used cs gas alot.

I know there are people who knock on putting the foregrip backwards.
Theres a reason when pressing up against a barrier and shooting in rapid succession it will slip up off the barrier opposed to the other direction were it " locks" itself in place and is more stable. Then when using the C clamp technique it allows for a better point of indexing. I say to each his own.
i have niche knowledge i'd like to contribute to the discussion. The Akdal MKA-1919 is a 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun, that has copied the layout of the m16. I have done extensive testing with the firearm, and have achieved, reliably, with accuracy, 500 yard ranges, utilizing several different brands of rifled slugs. in addition, with some testing, i have found said rifled slugs fired out of said weapon to be armor piercing within 50-100 yards. we're talked 3A plated armor such as that employed by various law enforcement agencies globally. by armor piercing, i mean, shreds through the material as if it didnt exist. that is all.

To answer the "minut man" question, people form informal networks of people they have known for years.
So get together with some friends. Or go make new friends. The gun range is a place to start. So is shooting competitions. Just a place to meet people and hang out and see what people say.

My suppression rifle is my 10/22 with 110 round drum scope can do 200 yards fairly accurately depending on wind

Nope. Nothing is standardized in the SR/LR 308 platform. Everything is a millimeter different.
Ar15 is all standardized between milspec and commercial.

With the recent unbanning of bumpstocks, do you think using one on an LSW would make it more effective, presumably from the prone position with bipod deployed?
I feel like a bump stock would not be a reliable choice, especially prone. Digging it into the dirt with the bipod would make it difficult for the stock to do its thing.
No, accuracy sucks. You'd be better taking the money You'd spend on good training. Get to where you can hit what you want out to 200 yards, preferably a 4-6" plate. When you can do that, you can direct fire without being a danger to any civilians nearby
Not sure why so many of the youth today don't see the merit of the shotgun more than a breaching tool. A lesson can be taken from Vietnam use, Marine infantry was issued modified choked guns and number 4 buckshot. Many who had this combo say from 0 to 100 yards it all one needed, the shotgun was considered the poor mans machine gun since a rifle cannot match the rate of rounds down range that a shotgun can layout etc..

I believe the shotgun also penetrated through the thick vegetation and triple canopy jungle better than carbine rounds, and it was great for walking point because of the stopping power hitting first strike on the enemy
I am wondering if a pistol carbine is a good option for hunting and self defense.. having a side arm match your rifle is good for medium to close quarters hunting right?? Or do you Just stick with 223 or 30 cal?
PCC is useless other than very close engagement ( inner city in a building ) past 36 yards, not doing much ballistically.. i get you want ammo compatibility but... Just no.

There is no wrong way, depends on planned use case and preference. Plenty of examples of real world use of forward grips installed this way by mil and law enforcement personnel. Look it up instead of asking in the youtube comments.

Take some intro level rifle and pistol classes. There are some companies who do women only classes if it’s a thing of intimidation or being uncomfortable! Look up The Red Letter Project!

A quick note, there are 100rd drums available for the the 308 AR platform. No clue as to their reliability in the newer manufactured examples, as my only experience was over 10 years ago with a secondhand one. It was certainly ONE of the drum magazines of all time, but certainly not the best. If anyone is interested in the reliability of the new examples, hook me up with one, and I'll run the dog piss out of it to see 😂😂😂
I have a 100 rd 308 drum for a SCAR 17. It is for entertainment, not cqb. It is, however, very reliable. 100 rds of .308 is very heavy. Fine for a bipods ambush, I guess, but I would prefer mag changes.
I haves had it for a very long time. It is a ProMag. I have never had a serious blockage with this device or any of the promag mags for said SCAR. I usually just stick with the FNH mags, but a little variety is nice.
Using 556 in jungle or thick woods like u have behind u is nuts if you dont have air support or artillary support. 7.62 * 39 is min calibre to use 308 is better.

Too many guns. A deeper analysis of capabilities in combination with abilities is required. Additionally, it could be wise to discuss the tools a person is more likely to employ in a daily "emergency" (i.e. lost car/house keys, stolen phone or purse, flat tire or broken down on the side of the highway, etc.)
