Ohhhhhhhh, You are seriously the FURNITURE WHISPERER! It is like you are talking to each piece and saying "What can I do do for you? How can I make you happy and beautiful again?" This is so classy and special. I love these secretary desks so much. I remember the beautiful pink one you did a few years back. I love the choices you made with both the transfer and the newsprint and decoupage paper and shining up that wood on the inside. STUNNING!
I have this exact secretary, it belonged to my great grandmother and is in need of repair but this definitely gives me ideas on the finished product. Beautiful
Stunning as usual! I marvel at how you can clean and paint furniture whilst wearing your beautiful clothes. I get paint on EVERYTHING and have to wear my 'paint' clothes when I paint.
Honestly...I don't know how you don't keep every piece you create!??! 🥰💝 Have you ever done a tour of your own home? I would LOVE to see that!! I can't imagine how lucky the people in your friends and family must feel to receive a piece from you...it will be known as an heirloom you know 🤗 you are simply THE BEST and most definitely an artist!! 💐
You are so talented! I love the way you decoupage the inside and trimmed the wood in gold! I can't wait to finish with my secretary desk! I have no idea where I'm going with it! You are such a great and creative furniture artist 🎨!! Love all your videos, especially the ones that you talk in! I'm from US, and your accent is beautiful!!
I enjoy watching your color schemes come together. These are so nice when you're done. Thank you for taking the time to film, edit, and upload these tutorials.
You are a genius! I loved the colour and the gold on the transfer. I didn't like the newspaper or the wood inside. Personal choice of course. You are so inspiring
Kacha this is beautiful. I would never have thought to paint it green but as usual you have that eye for knowing which colour would suit it best. My only regret is that i live in the UK so am unable to buy your furniture. We only recently started to get Annie Sloane products here so you have given me inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Shirley from the UK.
Kacha, true confessions ... when I see you have a new video, I just cannot wait to see the finished piece! Literally, I cannot wait. I go directly to the end of the video to have my breath taken away (every time). And then I go back to the beginning and see the effort to achieve such beauty. Thank you for sharing your talent! 😘
Kacha, I loved this so much I started searching for a secretary desk. Got a great deal on Facebook marketplace and followed your steps to the letter. Everyone who has seen it is in awe, it may not be “Kacha” quality, but not bad for a beginner. Thanks for the inspiration😘
Excellent finish and I am inspired to do something like this now with a couple of desk I have found, not nearly as beautiful as yours. But I am in Australia after all!!! But this idea will give them a true lift. Thank you again. You are so talented Kacha.
This has to be an absolute favourite of mine in all the makeovers I've seen, and I've seen many! How I wish to one day own such a very beautiful piece like it, I can dream💞🇦🇺
Absolutely beautiful work Kacha. Astonishing how lovely the Olive green is with the transfers. The Decoupage on the interior adds a mark of real sophistication. The gold trimming wax against the dark wood looks spectacular. Lucky person who get this beautiful piece. Have a great Saturday Kacha and Carlos.
I have this exact Secretary , I paid almost $ 500.00 yrs ago to have it refinished to it’s original state…this piece was too nice to this to. I love antiques ! You are talented , but you made a serious piece look “Cute”
Boil the hardware and screws I half white vinegar/ half water! The rust falls off and it won’t pit the brass! I have this, but I have the entire piece! It’s a bookshelf on top and it’s common name is Governor Winthrop desk for the Governor of New York, I think!
Kacha ~ Do you ever check with an expert on your older pieces like this - to see if they would have a GREATER value as an antique vs. a furniture artistic piece ? This one looks very valuable as an antique and might have been bringing you more money if it was professionally restored to it's once grand vision. You did a gorgeous job as usual !
You’re my favourite!!! You gave me inspiration on a blue secretary desk that im still doing. Finishing up the transfer part. But the amazing thing is the transfer that comes in the scroll, doesn’t have to be the end result from the picture. My desk was way to small for the transfer I bought so I cut up literally each section by section and layered it the way I wanted it. Im so happy I finally found the courage to use a transfer just from watching you! Although im in Canada and the local retailer I have to buy from marks all of the products from prima wayyyyyy up compared to the prima website. But when you have a vision and want to buy something the same day I guess that’s where they get you! But im so thankful for you sharing your talents and giving inspiration for me to make my own furniture pieces come to life the way I want them to transform! Thank you!!!
I am so excited to watch this! I have this exact piece, except mine still has the bookcase topper. It is in desperate need of repair and I have been desperately see to do something with it.
Oh wow. I wish this piece would find its forever home in mine. If I had done this I couldn’t part with it. Kacha, you do magic, you really do 🥰 Love from Australia 🦘🇦🇺🦘
Please keep this peace for yourself. So lovely.

God, where can I find a woman like this? This woman's a keeper. Well done. I loved your video and your restoration work, thank you.

🥴😂😂 me too!
@@sariteresa Nice to know I am not alone. 😊
Thinking the same 😀
Yep me too! I can't do any painting (brush or spray) without making a mess of myself and everything around me!

Beautiful 🤩. I’m always in awe of your clothes you work in , and white shoes. I can’t help but get covered in paint. Says so much about your skills.

You did a gorgeous job as usual !
Through the years I’ve seen a lot of people destroy those old desks by trying to paint them, but you made of that old desk fabulous again! Loved it!
This is a master class of all your special techniques. Gorgeous piece.
As always I love the gold. The green I’m not fond of. But if you like it, that’s all that really matters.
What a gorgeous piece! It's prettier now then when new!
