It's clear to see he was lining up the shot looking at the angle towards the corner yellow at 00:20 and the red into the bottom jaw at 00:26. It doesn't get much more creative and impressive than this! I challenged myself to guess his shot choice before playing the video and it wasn't until he was finally down on the shot I had any clue it could be this!
thats was a great shot, but the best ive ever seen in english 8ball, someone getting out of a snooker hitting 7 cushions and snookering his opponent behind the 8ball, and the opponent still had 7 reds on the table.
Great shot if he meant it but hardly the greatest shot in pool. Talk about exaggeration . I must have seen at least a hundred or more shots better than this over the years.
Not a fluke. He's one of the world's best pool players, he could tell the red didn't go into that pocket by a mile. Any good player on these tables knows that if you catch the far jaw, the ball tends to ping back toward the opposite pocket. So he played to catch the far jaw and have it ping back, worst case scenario is that he covers the pocket with his red. It was well worth playing.
He hit the cushion six inches from the pocket. On an English pool table (just like on a snooker table) the ball doesn't go in if you do that. The rounded shoulder kicks the ball back out onto the table. No player at his level would do that accidentally.
the people saying this is a fluke, are likely americans who only know how to play bucketball where this isnt possible.

You can tell he played it by where he left the cue ball.
Unbelievable.. what a brilliant shot..

I play these shots for fun on miniclip pool so if you are in tune with the table and know the game this was no fluke.... ❤
What a fucking shot son 😂👏👏👏
He played for it and got it. Never seen anything like it besides a rare fluke.

@@Zombies8MyPizza I have pulled this shot of myself and i am only county level.
@@georgericher3996 I'm same level mate and I've used it a couple of times, impressed some folks but it's more of a knowledge shot than anything!
Pfff that was a fluke
utter rubbish. luck.......was goin for the straight pot.
That's one way to tell everyone that you know nothing about the game.
