    This show is brilliant because the Mando is not some mythical hero trying to save the galaxy. He is an every-man (albeit a very dangerous one) who like all of us is trying to survive and do what he sees as right or honorable. In a harsh and indifferent universe.

    I think the reason the Mandalorian resonates with so many people (especially men) is because in this day of moral relativism people’s souls are parched for true examples of honor and morality. To be a strong man who upholds the code of honor and righteousness is indeed superb! To have great power and then put it to service for the greatest good rather than for ones selfish interests.. This is the Way.

    The Mando's backstory would be interesting to see on screen. Especially, when Mandoa armor colors represent value that are important to the wearer. Red means honoring a parent. And the silver of the Beskar'gam armor would represent seeking redemption.

      The death of those he loved is now a journey to redemption from his inability to save them.
      Is that not why we change? We struggle and we endure for many different reasons. For a warrior it is to be stronger than the self from the day before.
      For Mando... it is to be stronger for those ahead.

      Micah manipulated Dutch into the villain we all saw him turn into the moment Hosea died and when he left Arthur to die in that Cornwall Oil Factory.
      Almost like how Palpatine manipulated Anakin into becoming Darth Vader.
      But yeah, the Pinkerton National Detective Agency has similarities with Imperial Officers of the Galactic Empire, or agents of the Imperial Security Bureau formerly led by Agent Kallus from Star Wars Rebels.
      Either Agent Milton or Agent Ross would make good agents of the Imperial Security Bureau. You know what I'm saying?
      Except the Pinkerton National Detective Agency is a private security force more than a government agency. The Pinkerton Agents are technically mercenaries working for rich and mostly corrupt industrialists like Leviticus Cornwall, or Mr. Abel from the epilogue of Red Dead Redemption 2.
      I even read a little bit about the Pinkerton National Detective Agency working as private contractors for real-life industrialists like Andrew Carnegie or John D. Rockefeller. But I could be wrong.
      Did you know that the Pinkerton National Detective Agency was a real-life private security company back in the days of the Industrial Revolution and the Old West? And they're still around today. They even threatened to sue Rockstar, the creators of Red Dead Redemption 2, for speaking the truth about the Pinkerton National Detective Agency, and for making them the bad guys in the game.
      Don't believe me, look it all up on RUclips.

    I always liked the Mandalorians most, even as a kid. First it was the kick-ass armour, then because they are solitary, mysterious and live by their own code. Later I realized that there must be a deeper meaning behind their way. In their religion, “sloth” is the biggest sin, which always resonated with me. They are not God’s, not Jedi’s or Sith, they side with no Empires or Republics, they are just “ordinary” men who try to survive in the midst of the madness, crafting their skill, doing their work proffesionally for the highest bidder. Their word is kept with honor. It’s like deep down they know all sides are currupt, and they are above that, they are an idea. And you cannot kill ideas, but they can certainly make a good work of you. This is the way…

    Every good character had his symbol representind something important about the character.
    Yoda his talking and his old beeing(Wise master and powerful beyond normal),
    Obi wan his jerk quotes (Confidence), Maul his body (His past leading to his hate),
    Ashokas hair (Growing up)
    Darth Vader his armor (His limited vision is the hate, the immobility is his bond to the dark side that limmits him to it and to Palpatin, That the armour covers his whole body in black is the darknes consuming him e.t.c Darths Armor is great
    The Mandalorian his helmet (Think about it ; ) )
    And then there is Rey.

    Ok I dont know who Disney chose to write the script for the Mandalorian, Rogue One, or Han Solo, but why arent those people the ones who were making the last 3 episodes? Its like I hate Disney for just completely destroying the storyline with whatever that shit was, but then they actually did good on Rogue One, Han Solo, and this series. Its a win-lose i guess

    So the whole helmet removing part, I really can't wait for the show to clarify and explain it.
    My head cannon so far is that the covert or squad or division of death watch that saved him we're split up from Deathwatch/MaulMandos/Mandalorians/ImpMandos; after or during the clone wars and we're just living in kind of exile. And they were more traditionalist, even more so than Pre Vizla. They were trying to go back to the old ways of not taking of your helmet OR it is more of a rank thing, where only certain mandalorians are allowed to remove it once their at certain status. Because Pre Vizla was leader of Deathwatch, he removed his helmet many times to fight; Sabine wren and her family are all core mandalorians; also Din is gonna meet the lady Bo-Katan Kryze in this season and she is more of a face to face leader of Mandalorians when not fighting.

      @@titan8995Yea I wrote this before chapter 11. I just had a hunch cause it is just a weird rule he kept going by. I just know my star wars lore and it's a common thing that happens within tribes/factions over time. For example, Samurai, they went through several changes throughout time and their were other members who were more traditionalist.
      I frankly hate extremist and people who are too religious, so I don't really like Din. When he goes "there is only one way" I was infuriated. But of course he's gonna learn some things about Mandalorian culture he doesn't know about.

    • @kalebrod2823
      @kalebrod2823 3 года назад

      @@titan8995 Yeah, I understand his upbringing, he couldn't change that. But I can dislike him for the way he chooses to live, thats my opinion and my opinion can change the more he changes.
      I guess I'm more angry with the faction of Deathwatch that broke off from Bo-Katan and Maul. Because like I said, I HATE extremist and people stuck in the past. I mean sure they're all mandalorians, but they better be able to coexist with other mandalorians or idk I'm gonna be rooting for their destruction.
      Also, Maul did become the rightful ruler of Deathwatch/Mandalorians. Even Pre Vizsla states it before he died. So I do not fault those from siding with him.

    • @kalebrod2823
      @kalebrod2823 3 года назад

      @@titan8995 Oh yeah the right thing to do was leave Maul. I'm predicting we might see Bo-Katan tell the history of where the break up of Deathwatch happened and we might see a flashback of Maul killing Vizsla in live-action. And just how some who broke away followed Bo-Katan and some just went on their own path away from it all.

    • @kalebrod2823

      @@titan8995 Nah, I don't think that matters too much. They did it in Solo. Nowadays people can just look it up.

    • @kalebrod2823
      @kalebrod2823 3 года назад

      @@titan8995 it's not that complex. And people still saw solo 400 million in box office. Not crazy numbers but that's alot of people still. Plus all the people that saw it at home on Netflix and then on Disney+. And it would be almost perfect since Solo is getting a kinda sequel in the Lando tv show on Disney+.
      I think you gotta be open minded and not stuck in the past.

    I just like to imagine Grogu growing in power over the centuries, learning to become a Jedi, a Mandalorian, a bounty hunter and a Master on par with Yoda.
    Imagine Grogu, at Yoda's age and level of power (who as a baby levitated a mature female Mudhorn, redirected a wall of fire, and had enough focus and skill to Force-Choke a drop-trooper when he thought Mando was fighting her). Imagine Grogu being a student of Luke Skywalker, being raised as a Mandalorian warrior by his father Din, before leaving to wander the galaxy. He'd have the compassion of a Jedi, and the heart of a Mandalorian. I'd kill to see him in action during a Mandalorian civil war, the Republic threatening to go to war, and him claiming the Dark Saber as the next Mandalore. I can see him leading his people from the heart of a new Mandalorian Empire, based on Tatooine
    A tiny creature, with the age and wisdom of Yoda, the raw power and compassion of Luke Skywalker, and the heart and determination of Din Jaren.
    Mandalore the Eternal.
