This man was *awesome.* He's the kind of person that you want as a neighbor, so you can spend your day at his house, just listening to him talk, lol. He's hilarious!❤
Yeah brother, I'm 64 too. Feeling every word. Love your humor! Hell I forget to eat, lose my glasses, YET I'm in charge of everyone else's crap. Lol, joke's on them.
Same here..and I'm 77.. I still get phone calls..mom Where's my birth certificate?? Hahaha...I can't find my glasses. Let alone a filed away birth certificate....going into the kitchen, turn around, walk out..Where's my water..ugh..that's why I was in the kitchen...crap...hahaha..annoyed I still laugh at myself..
@@lightfountain lol, gotta laugh at ourselves...we're not losing our minds, we simply have information overload and our mental squirrels are highly caffeinated.
Really great comedian! Glad I found him. And a great tactic to split the audience into two halves. It creates a kind of competition to laugh the hardest.
9:27 this lil bit right here about discipline is the TRUTH! I’m 26, with a 5 year old baby girl, she’s autistic and I still believes in discipline! And it doesn’t even involve me getting physical with her the tone of my voice, my posture, my presence will do it for her! Break her right on down. She was acting a FOOL one day at pick up after school and it was for no reason. Dad got her in the car and I turned around and told her absolutely not! It’s her birthday dad and I have something fun planned for her, she has her iPad she will not act this way! The crying and falling out stops now or give up the iPad and we’ll go home! Stop it and I mean NOW! She stopped instantly! Her teachers were so happy lol. Her teacher said I knew you didn’t play!! She said it shows at school and I love that so much. Discipline is needed to create good people for society. That’s why the world a mess now. Folks trying to be friends instead of the parent. I’M THE MOMMA, DONT PLAY WITH ME. 💁🏾♀️ lol
Can I get an AMEN?!? OUTSTANDING!!! He's spot on about getting older! 🤣 I'm 57 and the only thing about getting older I don't are all the side effects I didn't know about! 🤣 There have been a few times I've looked all over our house looking for my cell phone just aggravated because I couldn't find. My husband would say, "Do you mean the cell phone in your hand that you're talking on?" He's not funny. 😈 I'm originally from Atlanta, GA and my Mom was born and raised in Tennessee. Southern Mom's and Grandma's do...not...play... I can't even count the times, in a store, my Mom would tell me, "Keep on testing me little girl; I'm about to snatch you baldheaded. Say I won't." I miss her every single day. I earned and deserved EVERY spanking I got at home and EVERY swat I got in school...there were no mistakes. Grandma + Hickery Switch = ENOUGH SAID. One of the best meme's I've ever read was a Mom telling her child, "You're campaigning for an 🤬 whipping and you're about to win the election." 🤣 Time out is for quitters and nobody likes a quitter. We DO need to Come Together. One of my ALL TIME FAVORITE songs is Everyday People by Sly and The Family Stone! Well done Sir! Very well done indeed! ❤ ~ APRIL LIPKE
Hi, Carl - yay for Wisconsin !!! I'm over here on the west side, born n raised Dunn county dairy farm. My mom is from the Milwaukee area tho. I was NOT raised w time outs, although I was born in 1980 and that stuff was becoming common when I was a kid. Never heard of picking your own switch til I was much older, but I have had to take Dad his belt, a rare time it wasn't on him, or he had a spare and this way he didn't have to mess w takin his off, esp. the years when he had his pliers hanging on it too. My mom would use the spare or a ruler or yardstick or one of our belts or something. A tree would hurt less than a small switch (unless you're actually beating/bashing someone, which of course would be more than abuse ! ), so you must mean a REALLY little one... a droopy twig :) ! Anyway, yeah, I'm all for spankings done decently, along with love and consistency and hearing your kids out ( vrs. jumping to conclusions, being impatient, not getting to know them, etc. etc. ). Yeah, while I haven't seen any abusive Moms in my local Walmart ( I'm also rarely there, don't have much $ for shopping, grow most of our food and often buy what we don't, locally or from Aldi, and my husband and I both have big feet and order our socks, among other things I could say ;) ! ) but it's to be expected - when you don't discipline, train AND love your kids, there's too much disobedience & chaos sooner or later and you end up snapping and doing a lot more damage than if you'd just spanked em, slapped lil hands as tiny tots to teach what "no" means and that you ENFORCE your commands, in the 1st place ! That yes, "no" and commands are actually appropriate parenting, as long as you're consistent ( that's essential for most kids, I have both read and found to be true - not everyone is a good two shows who'll obey without it, like me) AND reasonable, loving and try to take care of them and your home with peace and healthy enough food, warm enough clothes, and peers who don't ALL have trendy clothes or whatever your kids don't, can't, aren't allowed. For me tho, I can't imagine teaching your kids to obey you without being able to point to God and His word to back you up AND to show them that even you, too, have a higher authority to still obey, even as an adult. And that He's someone they can go to over YOUR head, when they feel the need to "speak with management" ;) ! That He'll be there for them, if they give themselves to Him and His keeping, no matter what. To grow together as a family in learning to love Him back, reading, learning His word ( be sure to REALLY study Galatians, it's key ). God bless y'all ! PS: They didn't always use the belt, hand too but on jeans, that ain't always worth much. Also, again, with consistency and training ( don't understand people taking offense to that word - so what If we train animals... it's works, don't it ? Better for everyone, right ??! Stop worrying, they don't become broken spirited unless you BREAK them, not TRAIN them, two dif. things and even then, people have spirits and God working on them. And even animals can heal). Anyway, with those things, u should rarely have to. And I do hate it when people yank hard on kids arms. That's very risky, can do real damage. Amen to the music thing, Carl !!!!
Like the time I was talking to my son (on the phone) while frantically looking for said phone. My son asked what was wrong and I told him I couldn’t find my phone. There was a pause and a chuckle, he said “mom, you’re talking to me on it”
