@@ld4974 You are wrong. With #4 Buckshot a person can send 27 .240" pellets down range every time a round is fired. Some shot guns hold up to 8 rounds including one in the chamber. So basically you are firing eight complete 20rd magazines from an AR15 in a matter of seconds. Within it's range it is completely capable to kill tens of people in a matter of seconds without reloading. Slugs are even more devastating because they are .70 caliber 1oz+ lead projectiles that have much longer range and immense penetration capabilities. With a little training a person can completely reload a shot gun magazine within seconds or continually reload one at a time into the chamber to continue firing. My point is if you do away with one type of firearm it will simply be replaced by another that may be even worse. Might want to do some research and then use common sense once you are informed.

I think Sara's thinks Sunny's views are exaggerated and she only sees matters one way in black and white. I personally do not agree with Sara. This is a truly misguided conversation. If children being killed in schools was only a gun control issue, it would happen all over the world, it doesn't. Free speech, means speech for those you do not agree with. Calling out Elon Musk for not deplatforming people they do not agree with is a really bad idea.

I have to say that l come from a country with almost zero guns around. I have only seen a gun because my uncle was a soldier. Some of my friends have NEVER seen a gun. We have NO gun violence. Larry David has a point in calling out these shameless money hungry people. Maybe not at a wedding but hey, this is less traumatizing for Elon Musk and all guests than for the children who were gunned down . Elon will be fine. The bride and groom will be fine. Everyone will be fine except those targeted by shooters.

While it is true that not all Republicans are the same, the fact of the matter is that voting Republican nowadays means you are voting in candidates that will implement extremist right wing policy and vote in extremist right wing judges. The moderate portion of the party is gone and the few non-extremists left are pushed further and further to the right. The average Republican voter is complicit in this by continuing to vote Republican. Regardless of what you say, if you vote Republican it doesn't matter if you disagree with them on their voting, abortion, gun, or tax policies you are aiding and abetting them all. Considering the jerrymandering and repressive voting tactics deployed by republicans the window for America to claw back it's democracy is ever closing. It hasn't helped the quality of democratic candidates either, the republican choice is so wacko the democrats can put up pretty much anyone who's not insane and the country has to stomach it over the Republican that wants to turn the country into a dictatorship / oligarchy.
