This is my favorite song from Chevelle and you guys are just amazing
This is a song I listened to so many times in high school. I've heard it more times than I can count. With that being said this cover was really damn good. I think what made it so good was the fact that it's like the original, but also has its own unique sound. That sort of balance is what makes a good cover stand out. If you go too original then it makes it sound like a completely new/different song and if you don't put enough spin on it then it just sounds like you're doing karaoke. This version blended 2 sounds together and it sounds really freaking good.
Damn they are good!!! Definitely did this song justice. Her voice, stage presence, tightness of the band, its all top notch. I loved it. Definitely will be checking out more of their stuff👍

@@fryguy42005, it isn't generally how covers work. F211 are young adults from suburban Pennsylvania who have released hundreds of covers. They wouldn't be able to afford paying hundreds of preemptive cover fees. Royalties to original artists are paid out of F211 cover sales as a part of licensing. No one has to pay to release a cover of a song. It's when a song makes money that it costs F211 something to have released it, and not for losses.
This version really sounds amazing.
The original came out around my freshman year.. great cover, just brought me back to sitting on the bus listening to this song on my way to school. Wow. Well done.

I remember seeing Chevelle back in 05 at St. Scholastica in Duluth. That was right when they released it his album. It was a really good show. Taproot was just before them the set list was so prime. They did a remarkable performance and one I’ll always think back fondly on.

I liked this. It’s an extremely dark song. I always thought of someone who is very sad with anger boiling under the surface of his composure like a volcano ready to erupt. Columbine.
The notes are sad and nervous. The rhythm is blues.
I never did anything drastic but luckily for me I have a mix of composure and enough people around me who care enough. Not everyone is treated with respect, which is not an impossible feat, people. Some people are treated horribly.
I like the low vocal notes at certain points. The band really got into the spirit of the song. F211 seems like happy people and I hope you never have to go through certain negative extremes. Maybe you already have. You’re doing a good thing by playing great music. This rendition is important, because you do come off like happy people. I think many dance music fans will see this rendition; as well: they should. As always, I enjoy this band and respect the tight musicianship demonstrated.
