- hi guys!! so this week was quite busy for me in terms of school, because it was the last week until easter break, so I thought I'd film a week in my life for you guys :) This week was very exciting as I started volunteering with reptiles again! It's quite a different role from the previous place I was at, so instead of taking care of different species, I'm going to be doing field surveys which is really exciting. I also bring you guys with me grocery shopping (along with a huge grocery haul), to university where I went to labs, doing lectures, going for a country walk around the cute little english villages and more.

Oh, Megan, I’m so sorry about Mitzy! She was adorable and I love how she opened all of our hearts to spiders. I had never seen a spider interact like that with a human before. And, oof, that moment in Charlotte’s web gets me every single time. Sending you a big hug, lovely!

Aww I'm sorry about mitzy. It's completely OK for you to be upset. No matter what is going on in the world the death of a pet is heartbreaking and you are allowed to mourn and feel sad
I just wanted to jump on here and say that I am one of your subscribers and I am Ukrainian and its completely normal and human and okay for you to be sad about your spider dying. I am sorry that you had to go through that and even with a horrific thing such as war going on, people are still going through personal hardships but I respect your kindness towards the situation and don’t feel like you have to apologize about anything. 💕

Girl a lot of us are struggling with the feeling of being alone and needing someone, I ended up finding a place to volunteer, once a week and I made so many friends and it helped remove the pressure of constantly looking at other people's lives and comparing mine, now I feel like I have a purpose, and I'll meet my partner when the time is right! So don't be sad, if I can get through two years of being alone, you can too, trust me, focus on other things you can do with your time like giving back in a way.
I am crying over Mitzy. I held a jumping spider this week to move it from my car. First spider I ever held. They are adorable. I love the orb weavers and praying mantis also. Oh, and please don't feed bread to ducks and geese it can make them really sick.

My partner had a wee field mouse for a few years, his name was captain patches. At the start I did not even acknowledge him, but over the years he would do funny stuff like get out of his cage and just sit on the top of it and I had a few hand cuddles. Then when he died I felt so sad and felt the same as you that he taught me that mice can be cute and intelligent. Also love your videos Megan, they are so relaxing and everytime i watch them I feel really inspired. I think you have a lot of really good balance in your life and seem to really appreciate everything too even when you eat food you close your eyes and it just makes me want to find tha balance for myself too!

I love how much you have acclimated to living in UK. I’ve been following you before you left Canada. I’m very happy to see you flourish and go far with your studies and volunteer work. FYI- my mom is an ornithologist and it’s Canada Geese😂 also the best thing to feed mallards and any water birds is lettuce etc instead of bread. Megan, ii love your soul and heart... relate to mitzi!!! your sensitivity shines. Loved the food haul... I've been way more consistent focusing on health over the scale and my clothes fit just fine with way less stress...kind of weird to realize unworthiness based on externals is pride reversed... if I'd been as courageous then as you ... well... now is the gift we have and the privilege of serving others with a healthy example imho, cuts off fails and allows new growth at every opp. Hugs.

I knew someone with a jumping spider and she had her in an aquarium! So it was a little spider in a big tank with big sticks and stuff to climb! It was actually super cute! She got the aquarium from someone online for $20 and had left over foliage from her lizards tank that she put in!

I just wanted to point out ( because on your other video you said that you were vegan, I think), that Palmolive is not a great brand for soap. I think it's owned by Procter and Gamble or Unilever. I think Tescos own brand are vegan or at least cruelty free. I don't k ow how long you've been in the UK, so you may already know about this information. Look out for Astonish handsoap or Bayliss and Harding sold in Tescos 😊. Sorry about your spider btw 🕸 🕷️☹️.
