- Hey guys! Today I'll be bringing you along with me to thrift in the most EXPENSIVE area of manchester (altrincham), and show you a try-on haul of all the things I bought. I found CRAZY bargains on brands like ralph lauren for only £4.99 (when it was originally £129), or pairs of pants that were £200 for only £4 .... overall it was a really good trip, and if you are in the area you need to check this place out :)

That pleated skirt is a neutral colour literally can wear with any top , definitely a classic wardrobe staple, it’s a keeper

I went to uni in Ormskirk and they have amazing charity shops there! They have a Barnado's, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research etc and I got so many gems over the years! I'm talking a brand new Whistles dress with the £170 price tag still on for like £4!! Definitely take a drive there soon 💖
Fellow Edge Hill past student here! I miss the charity shops there so much, I found some amazing things during my time there!
i think thrifting in the UK can be a lot harder than US or maybe Canada, I dunno why but you definitely have to make an effort and use your imagination when going to charity shops here. I've recently got into thrifting more and honestly it is so satisfying when you do find a hidden gem!

And the pleated (I saw other people calling it this??) skirt is super cute! I imagine it with a bright pink top🥳 if you want to exchange it for another colour do it, but this ivory leather vibe is gorgeous imo!

I volunteered for a certain charity (a big one) through work a few years back, I was told that all donations that get taken to different shops are combined in a big warehouse. It’s sorted through and the expensive stuff and top brands are sent out to the charity shops in the rich areas and then the cheaper stuff is sent to the poorer area’s!Xx

10:37 I really advise you of cool shades in winter and warm shades in the summer, since you have bright light skin the cool colors will intensify that and make you look more pale, wheras the wormer they are the more tanned you will look, but it depends on your vibe at the moment
British heart Foundation is my absolute favourite, I struggle sometimes with Charity shops not having much in my size but they always do!
I think the color pink really suits your skin actually!💖

Nice finds in the charity shop. The Swedish make top probably has higher thread count in the cotton, hence the better quality. If you like the Primark pleated skirt,could you not dye it? My fave was the work out jacket. Reminds me of a shellsuit from the late 80s/90s.

Love the skirt!!! Wear it w a black top… or Any Color! Don’t worry about the color of your legs! It’s what near your face that matters more in terms of skin tone. If it were a dress of that color , then yes, it might be too pale for you all over. But you can def pull off the look of that skirt.You could even wear it w tights or leggings! It’s so cute on you! 👍🏻💗

I love thrift shopping! . I remember as a kid it was frowned upon and you were made fun of. now its so different. its almost a proud moment when you find something super cheap and used.. :)..

It's Altrincham - pronounced 'altering 'em' - think of 'changing things around' then add on 'am' at the end like you would finish off pronouncing Oldham.

Honestly did not think about pink being the jackets brand name, and got a little upset for a whole second. Also my thoughts were how funny would it be if you actually were color blind, and firmly believed you'd gotten a pink running jacket
