I had owned a low-rise condo at 41sqm in thonglor with nice view, quiet, cozy, near to bts, mall, grocery, pharmacy, hospital, etc..and always love BKK kap!🙏
Wow your new house looks amazing, congratulations. I think it is a very smart, and peaceful move did you get a little further away. Looking forward to the renovation videos.
Very happy for you for getting a much nicer place to live in. The neighborhood is nice. Pretty good layout in the new home, but I would have preferred an en suite with the master bedroom. But great big windows letting lots of light in is a big plus. Congrats ...
03:37 Of course that's possible in a condo, as long you have a good size. You make it sound as if all the apartments or condominiums in Sukhumvit are small, which of course is not the case. Even if you're near the BTS, there are plenty of options and sizes. Anyways, congratulations with your new place.
WooW..! It's amazing Arsen 😀I really love to see your new house..!! Also excited to see the office of my favorite RUclips Channel, 'Live Love Thailand' 😊 Waiting for your next vlog..!! Take care..!!
Let me get an early guess in on the price of the house. I guess THB2.6 Mil.. Srinakrin is a quiet residential zone, but with many large malls within a 5 km radius. You're also not far from the tollway running tge western perimeter of the city, so easy travel (not in rush hour) to riverside and a bit further is the Jattuchak Open Market. Wish you the best in your new house.
Looks like a pretty perfect space, thanks for sharing! Ps. Should put the editing desk facing the window in the corner downstairs by the dining table/bathroom, and leave the upstairs office for strictly audio editing, that way you're not necessarily stuck upstairs all day, thanks!
I'm Thai. My honest comment would be stay away from a townhouse if you can afford a single home. If you have a good neighbor, you will be lucky. If not, then you know what I mean. My parents home is not far from your new house and I grew up there before I moved to the USA. The yellow line is nice. Congratulations! 🎉😊
yes that was a concern. I would worry about drunk parties and loud music into the night sometimes. Best of luck with the neighbours hopefully they are quiet
Wow love the new town house Arsen. Its a pity that its not fitted with the kitchen and appliances. But it depands on the price i assume. My girlfriend has a house in opposite direction if I'm right and its a nice house about 50 years old and solid but 5k away from the station so its a taxi ride to Shapan mai station and about 50mins to Asok station. I want to move near a station and im looking how much we can get for her house now that its in 21 century after spending some money to make it more presentable. Cant wait for the next vlog.😊
My friends live in Chonburi. The apartment complex is very similar to what you have purchased. I was thinking you needed more outlets in your office space. You'll need a roof for your cooking area. And hot water heater for your showers.
Good luck I would look at things to hang on the walls. Maybe look at some plants to keep insects and rodents a way I hear mint plants are good. A ceiling fan or two would be good to help your ac costs.
I'd put a pool table in the master bedroom and bar setup at the corner of the master bedroom where the window is .. use one of the rooms in the back as a bedroom just for privacy!
I don’t recommend a TV in the room… with phone and laptop you can see all the streaming… maybe a good sound bar in the room where you can on some relaxing music that can help you with your sleep… and when you getting ready for the evening out you can play a up beat tune to create the mood… just my thought

Yeah it's important to have a Thai kitchen outside. You want to be able to use a gas fired wok and cook seafood without smelling the inside. Maybe see if you can get a pizza oven thrown in as well
When you wife convinced you to move from the condo to the house, the two smaller rooms upstairs will be filled soon (and it will be not so quiete anymore). What I would missing is a big garage where I can fiddle at the cars, scouters, bikes.... and have really my space. When you live on earth level so close to the bushes, are there a lot of mosquitos?
Yeh, we are installing mosquito covers, and also some plants that can repel insects, even at the condo, the same issue surrounded by green spaces. Concerning the space, we really needed that, especially for my private work. Thank you for the comments
Nice Townhouse. I think you will be super happy if you finish all and esspecially your new "mencave" for editing. I'm looking forward to your next vlogs where you showing us the progress
There have been advice that Farangs have very limited legal rights if they buy property in Thailand and get divorced. Apparently you can loose the whole house.
Having an outside kitchen is better...Thai food tastes great, but the preparation..that's a different story. Just roof the area. And get a waterheater for at least 1 shower.
I live in a 50 m square condo next to singa complex Phetchaburi Road. Has access to phetchaburi MRT and Makassan airport link. Have parking and included is furnished, electric, water and electric. Fixed for 2 years at 20000 baht a month. It suits me and I like living near Asoke. It is a one bedroom but it is all I need. I have a retirement visa but I work in oil and gas in Malaysia.
My condo is several times bigger then your new house, even more central then On Nut, can play loud Music there via a Soundsystem. So there are condos in BKK opposite to what you say.
Congratulations 🎉 I guess the hard work of previous years started to pay off🎉👍, in addition what benefits you get as a foreigner buying a propery in thailand
The Pool and club area looked nice.....however, my experience with these developments is that they look fantastic whilst the project is being sold and once all sold the pool maintenance seems to decline.......hopefully not for this one though!
As for the view, you just never know how long that'll be for....could be 6 months or could be 12 years.....if you get 3 years then you have probably got your moneys worth for the extra price.
Very nice townhouse! Love that the ceiling on the second floor is high~ Lovely view too. For the office, maybe a corner desk to utilize the space?:D Curious also was the air con installation part of the property purchase or was that something you had to hire someone separately to do?
1. Can an foreigners buy an landed property in Thailand.. or does this townhouses is classified as landed? 2. It is surprisingly that the hse flooring is pre-done in every room, with wooden flooring n living hall with floor tiles. as well the furnishings wall tiles n shower facility n toilets bowls for boths bathroom. However was surprisingly, then u had to rebuilt the kitchens. Or shall i said an indoor + an extension outdoors smoked free open air kitchen.
